Yes you can just get the Electric Pump itself but the Sending Unit is the impossible peice to find.....i have a brand new in Box Mopar electric pump in my garage as well if your intrested ;)

Mines basically the same as the 1 pictured above.....i purchased an Outerware fora Quad then and put it over my filter just to be safe in dusty conditions 8)

And its all plastic!?

Check your front Swaybar bushings as well.....i just replaced mine earlier this week and I'm suprised how much of a difference that made to the ride quality

The TB was cleaned back in Janruary or so....i did have it off and then reinstalled it and the TPS....the problem just began about 2 weeks ago till now

Lately within the past 2 weeks ive been having an issue with stalling out at low idle dowhill decents, and occasionaly while under braking and just sitting still idling.......it seems to have a lower idle and I'm thinking is possibly a dying fuel pump problem (working on getting another) but are there any other likely causes that i could check for? Truck is an 88 4.0 Auto Throttle Body is clean TPS is fairly new (Replaced last summer) Fuel Sending unit has the popular connection leak and truck has had 1/8-3/4 tank in it since conditions started Thanks for any help, I'm gonna be replacing the Pump/Sending unit as soon as i get ahold of 1 but still would like to check any other culprits 8)

Yeah.....i have my Dealership (i work there, my family owns it) searching to get 1 somehow.......this really has been a slowly growing problem among us MJ owners over the past couple months :roll:

I work alongside this junk every and i can't agree more.......Chrysler and pretty much all the automotive industry don't know how 2 build quality prouducts anymore.........2 me its not even worthy of being called a "Jeep" without a solid front axle and 4x4........seriously its bugs me that much and drives me nuts everyday :chillin: :nuts:

Alright well over the past month ive noticed the smell of fuel when my tank is full and down down to about 3/4 tank......after periodic checks ive noticed theres a leak devoloping and slowly gettin worse around the fuel pump area....anyway it seems to be 1 of the lines may be rusting apart but theres also possabilities of a failed fuel pump seal and that crap......So pretty much I'm gonna wait till my fuel level drops to about 1/2 tank and then dig into it further, any suggestions on a main cause and means for repairs? as well as any other likely causes? thanks

Except the '87 - '90 Jeep 4.0L with the metric threads. Never EVER use that filter on those. Ive never tried a M090 on my 88....but excatly what would happen, you got me wondering now :nuts:

Alright weird question.....could a bad/leaking gas cap cause fuel milage to drop?.....like by the fumes escaping from the tank?

if that doesnt fix it add 1 can of compression to your oil, that outta help lube the piston return springs which may help the issue

Transfer case goes in and outta 4WD just fine but the "part time" light is always on....wheres the connector or anything for that?....thanks
