  1. my 2wd eliminator has a set of old school traction bars on it and it has 0 wheel hop. I can get 1st.2nd and chirp 3rd
  2. i like that light Idea I may have to steal that one from ya and use it on my eliminator. Wheels came back real nice also. Great work!
  3. Looks good. Love the black and white. I got a massive amount of lift when I did the SOA on my Chief also. Had to do 7.5 springs in front to get it evened up
  4. WOW..very clean..I like :brows:
  5. The ram's my tow rig. The back rack is from an 04 toyota tacoma pick up.
  6. Picked this up a couple months back from a customer. It's a 91 2WD Eliminator, 4.0/AX15 Dana35 with 107k. I already have a couple 4wd trucks so I'm keeping this one a 2Wd and doing a kind of steet truck vibe with this one. Here's a picture the day I got it. first thing was to get rid of those ugly rims. Picked up a new set of tires for it friday and had a set of 15x10 soft 8's laying around that I decided to use. The tires are 275/60/15's all the way around. They stick out a little bit but that's the look i'm going for. low and Fat! Future pland are to get the body work going on it and lay a new coat of paint on it. Have a disc brake 8.8 LDS with 3.73's that will be going in along with a duel diafram booster. Tinte the windows and may be add a 97+ front clip. Really short on time these days so this one's going to take a little bit to get going. but i'll try and keep the updates comming.
  7. never thought I would say this about a comanche but would you please just scrap that thing :hmm:
  8. on with the 4WD swap!
  9. Check the TPS. I has the same problem with a 90 XJ. Wouldn't shift out of first. Changed the TPS and it was all better
  10. wan to add a 91 long bed eliminator to your collection. I know someone that has one. Cheep :D
  11. here's one I did on a buddys XJ
  12. Read it again. They are both Borla headers. One is an HO the other is for a renix
  13. Where in North Jersey are ya?
  14. did a rear disc brake conversion, front and rear and Ring and pinion install on an XJ for someone and got the truck as payment. I'm really leaning twards selling it. Money's tight these days
  15. is that unusual?
  16. I just seem to keep comming across thse damn things and have to have it. So this makes 4 now. It's a 91 H.O 2wd, AX15, 107k. Only rust is on the bed around the wheel wells. Cab corners and rockers and nose are rust free. Interrior is gray and clean. Has 15x10's on the rear with 275/60-15's and 15x8's up front with 235/70-15's. Someone also addded some traction bars and it seems to either have 4.10's or 3.73's. Needs some brakes and a master cylinder and I'm going to throw it on the road and run it for a bit.. I'm looking for a bed on the east coast. NJ,NJ CT or PA area. Maybe even Mass. Here's a quick picture of it
  17. me and another friend lifted off my 7 ft bed and it wasn't heavy at all. 3 people would have baan a little nicer to keep it stable
  18. That's not a bad idea ya got there. I'm missing the intake tube on my 88 2.5 . Looks like i'll be going to home deopt tomorrow
  19. i was thinkinh the same thing. Any one own an S-10 to take a measurment
  20. Just picked up a 2wd LWB eliminator and was thinking about going a diferent route with it. A nice driving street truck. Any one have a picture of a custom rollpan or a pan from another truck they have addapted to fit the MJ?
  21. I'm more or less just using it to protect the back window. I had a roll bar in it but couldn't get my quad in there. Without the back rack my front bumper on my quad would touch the rear window. Now I don't have to worry about rolling in to far and busting the glass. You can also throw a ladder on it or some lumber or anything to long to fit in the bed or leave hanging out the back. It really will come in handy when I have to transport 100lb propane cylinders for the shop in the winter or Argon CO2 bottles for the welders. I can strap them right to it. I'm Not really fond of the look either but more it's function for me.
