it, TBI. i see a MAP(manifold absolute pressure) sensor, so unless I'm mistaken, a carb wouldnt have one. although, it does look like its missing a lot of electrical that my 87 has. not good enough view to truly tell

nice good high-reving motor. will last forever. too bad you don't live closer, i have a good running 87 2.5 thats rebuildable.

i think i remember seeing that truck on here. i distinctively remember the rust spot above the rear flair

mine benefited the communityin a round-a-bout way by providing a new motor for my truck, which in turn will eventually allow me to go faster up the grade out of green valley and make the other drivers happier :brows:

87 had low compression, no power left and rod knock this was all my senior project for high school, so that was fun. the new motor runs so smooth you wouldnt believe. high flow oil pump and .040 overbore

it all starts off with a familiar sight. and this one now the fun part. 89 2.5liter so thats why there was bad compression ford blue (Chrysler blue is ugly) new parts always gotta check clearances time for pistons complete aluminum valve cover goodbye 87 2.5 new motor installed

sounds like we all need to lift our trucks high enough so the only thing a person can run in to is a big hunk of tire

the guy at my local junk yard wants $450 for a D44 off a comanche laredo he says "thats what they're going for" must be crazy. it doesnt even have the right gears :nuts:

it would also depend on how much power your 2.5 has. 2.5 5-speed 31"tires 4.11 gears mine gets between 15 and 18 with 162k. the new motor should get a lot more ;)
