I would say about an inch. I have the correct pilot bushing and checked this before the install. I also made sure the clutch disc went on the input shaft before I did the install.

I am replacing my transmission with an ax15 and I can't seem to get the transmission and engine back together . It is really close but just won't go the rest of the way. Any ideas?

So it turns out I found a transfer case from a 1993 Cherokee with an Auto. Fits perfectly and it was only $100.00. That is a win for craigslist!! Now to re install everything this weekend.

I just picked up one of these today from my local dealer for 38.93 tax included.

I am putting a 1998 AX15 out of a Wrangler. I need to know all of my transfer case options. I know I need 23 splines, but what years and models can I look for. Salvage yards around here think the cases are gold. Most of them priced at 350.00.

I gave $700.00 for mine in just about the same condition(I am in the middle of changing my transmission now). I do have a regular title and not a salvaged one.

So the AX15 I bought out of 1998 TJ has a little bit of play in the input shaft is that normal. Also I removed my BA10 and it looks like the previous owner just put a new clutch in. Does anyone know the stock clutch thickness?

Removed the BA10. Still need a few parts to finish the AX-15 swap.

Got mine up in the air. Installed the Moab wheels and left the jack stands under it so I can start pulling the transmission for the AX15 swap.

How much did you get?

What size are those tires? Any lift?

Most Junk yards around here do not even have cars, just parts. I know that if you just wrap it in shipping wrap and take it to fed ex it would not be to bad to ship ground. I can just send you 40.00 and you can ship it to me. I know it won't cost more then that.

I've got one from when i swapped to a rusty's one... but shipping i think would make it not worth while for you. I'm in S. Oregon 97532. if you wanted to do some shipping quotes. I don't think it's all too heavy just bulky Is it in good shape? I am only in Boise which is not to far from you.
