Do you still need the ebrake bolts? The yard near where I work has 2 mjs on it. And since I know the guy he probably wouldn't miss them. Haha

This is the one in the jy here. Sorry it took so long. They are asking $70 for it. I don't know if thats a good price or not, I've never looked at one before. So if ya want it let me know, I can run snag it and you pay actual shipping cost. I didn't see any chips or cracks when I looked at it. David

@Jeepcomc- if you happen to have seatbelts that would help. The ones I have are worn, but functional. Except for one female, it fell apart. So that would be nice to replace. -
My mj has that same color interior. Hard to find.

I found two MJ's in a junk yard in a podunk town here. One had a moon visor on it. Don't know who made it. I am going back next week, j know it's still there, I'll shoot some picks and ask what he wants for it, see if it is what you want and in the right price range. You pay the yard cost and shipping and I'll pull it and ship it to ya.

BTW, how hard was the 3800 motor swap? I saw another 86 with a 2.8 and a blown motor. So just curious. -

Ummmmmmm......OK. That is very generous, thank you. I have no problems paying for them though. It's getting hard to find some stuff. My zip is 30809. You let me know $$ wise either way. -

I'm in no huge rush. I sold my other truck, so the mj is my dd until I find what I want to replace it. But my son (turning 15 in 2 months) informed me he wanted it when he turns 16. It's been in the family since new, but mainly a farm truck and woods truck. So now time to buckle down, dump a few dollars in it and get it fixed up for the next generation. Look forward to dealing. -

Sorry, didn't know you were well organized. Lol I'm looking for dash pad, glove box door, plastic for the a pillar,b pillar, kick panels, the plastic that goes between the b pillar and kick panel, I've got the bench seat and need new seat mounting brackets, and the small console for a manual transmission. That's a start. I'm sure there is more I'm not thinking of right off the top of my head. As I said, there was some seals leaking before I got it, and the day I picked it up there was 2+ inches of standing water on the floor. So a lot of stuff rotted. If you are not sure what any of the parts I mentioned (sometimes different names in different parts of the country) lemme know and I'll shoot a pic of it to match up. Thanks again -

@snakedoc67- I think that's one of the few things in the interior that is still in good shape. Lol if I had some extra jangle in my pocket I'd get them........"just in case". @JeepcoMJ- I got the truck after it had been sitting 8-9 years with a leak in a few seals. So needless to say there is a lot that was ruined. If you could throw a few pics up so I can see what you have. I have a bench and my son wants to keep that. So the seats wouldn't work. Plus shipping would probably kill me. Lol thanls -

Really need a drivers side seat belt. Even if it is only the portion that the shoulder belt locks into (thats the part that is broken). Color is unimportant. Just need the safety. Thanks David

How common is red interior?
Firemandave334 replied to 89 shortbed's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I have an 86 with the blue interior. Others are saying it is common, but I seem to be having a time finding blue parts for it. -
I need various interior parts for my 86 comanche in what apparently is a rare color. Blue. Need: Grab handle Dash pad Seat belts window crank Kick panels I also need: Tail lights mirrors (I have optional towing mirrors and want to swap to the one that mount in front of the wing window) Entire antenna, mounting bracket and cable Wiper arms Seat pin (the pivot pin that holds the back of the bench to the seat) or an entire bench seat in poor condition (just going to pull hard parts off it) That should be a big enough list for now. :wrench: Thanks! David
