  1. I threw a coil in it the other night after no spark and today picked this up! Rear disc, 3.73 LSD Ford 8.8!
  2. Nothing much to report. Got a Delta bed box for some extra storage. I haven't really driven it too much lately, but I'm slowly collecting parts!
  3. She broke 95k! I got my local front plate mounted. These have been around since I was a kid. The other day on the way to work my clutch line blew, I was luckily able to get one ordered in time to swap it on my lunch break. Otherwise not much else is going on with it.
  4. Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been on the boards lately. To be honest I forum searched about it and followed the method on here (didn't seem to make a lot of sense) and it got worse. So I undid my hardlines at the MC (nasty at the connection) and bleeders at the rear and started cleaning really well and after I hooked everything up they bled out fine like normal. Right now I have a GREAT pedal and just followed a normal bleeding procedure.
  5. I discovered how bad traction can be in the rear with no weight back there this week...twice. lolol Nothing too bad, but I got stuck in my marshland of a backyard even using 4L Wednesday, and today I couldn't get up a fairly steep dirt hill before spinning half way up it. My old XJ made it up just fine though. lol
  6. Got the General Grabber AT2s mounted and balanced and thrown on today at work. She did well on her maiden voyage in, cruised like butter at 65mph!
  7. Got the brakes worked out! Since I got that done tonight I'm going to nut up and drive her into work the 50 mile round trip. I went ahead and put my 97-01 Cherokee wiper arms on with new blades just in case it rains!
  8. Thanks man! I am seriously frustrated with this thing right now. After all of the work and fighting I've been through I cannot get the brakes to bleed properly. Now I am getting NO fluid from either rear drum. -sigh- It's really annoying when one of the most simple things is my biggest issue right now.
  9. Thanks man! I really hate the look of these wheels but they are temporary. lol Rebled the brakes some more. Still not 100% right. I've got an ok pedal to drive on if I'm just cautious, but I'd like to get it 100%. Put about 10 more miles on her and put some fuel treatment in the tank. Here is a quick little pano I did of my interior after cleaning/vacuuming it out.
  10. Sweet score on that camper top! I really like the direction this is heading, keep it up!
  11. Bled the brakes somewhat. All of them bled well but the drivers rear. I could NOT get it to bleed properly. The pedal is still a little soft but it's a hell of a lot better than before. Got it rolling on a stock set of 97-01 XJ steelies for now until I get my other A/Ts mounted on the original wheels. I put about 20 city miles on it around the house (in my free tow zone :P) and went and washed it up a bit and used the pressure washer to get some more of the decals off.
  12. Thanks man! It was a lot of work but I have a feeling I'll forget all the times this thing made me cuss it out once I get some miles on it. ;)
  13. is right!
  14. It liiiiivvvesssss! I thought the slave was shot, but the clutch was stuck to the flywheel! Just need to throw my decent tires on for now and check out the brakes before it's long haul worthy!
  15. Those door panels pieces and bullet snaps are really unique and badass!
  16. Replaced the o-ring on the fuel pressure regulator and it took care of my fuel leak. After that I started it up and let it get to operating temperature for the first time in over a decade! I also used that as the chance to burp the cooling system. Soooo cloooose!
  17. Thanks man! It's been a lot of work but the payoff will be worth it! I hope these rims are 8" so I can run my 33x12.5s when I lift it! This is true, it's totally rewarding! After all the wiring and fuel work I didn't want to NOT have an extinguisher around in case something went wrong. lol That's awesome! I really wish I could have had mine going sooner, but there was not a lot I could have done differently without a garage.
  18. It's allliiiiive! Got the tank back in and hooked up today. Just went ahead and did plugs while I had my girlfriend run to the parts store for me. I shut it off because the fpr started leaking, so that'll get dealt with next. lol My clutch pedal is nonexistent so I'm hoping a bleed is all it will need for the time being.
  19. I got some cheap General Grabber AT2s from a friend for the time being but forgot to mention that. Today I managed to get the tank/pump out but ran into some fitment issues with the retainer on the sending unit fitting the pump, so after that got sorted and everything was together in the tank it was dark. Not juice....just old gas. It had just shy of 8 gallons in it. The pump I took out must have been a replacement because it was a Bosch. So in 94k miles this truck has had 3 fuel pumps. lol
  20. That looks like a CJ7/YJ style shift knob if I remember correctly. The original Comanche knob on my ba10 was more rounded and wasn't stiched around the center.
  21. Good progress man! Slowly but surely you'll get it there!
  22. I never really posted about it, but I got it to turn over off of fuel in the intake manifold after I got the harness back in. The pump is shot so I got a new one, just gotta take the time to replace it and hopefully this puppy will be on the road!
  23. The wiring is wrapped up, cooling stuff basically sorted out. I've just got to mount my universal overflow bottle now and fill it up. Next is sorting all of the vacuum lines that are chewed through and the old fuel.
  24. I'm really enjoying your build! You should really enjoy it with the e-locker and 4.10s when it's all said and done!
  25. Well Target was a strike out for me, but I checked this week on a whim and Walmart now will sell them through their site. So I ordered one for in-store pick-up and sure enough got it in a few days later!
