i have a d35 right now but should be swapping for a 8.25 when i lift her.

so i finally decided on a lift for my '92. -Rusty's 4" leaf packs -Rough country 4.5" kit i am also looking into getting an adjustable track bar, and some sway-bar disco's. as far as i can tell, the RC lift is pretty complete, and if i get the track bar and disco's i should be doing pretty good. now....is there any thing i am missing?? oh yea..... u bolts, where do i get a good set?? and one last thing...not sure what size tire i'm gonna run yet, this is my DD and a mild wheeler, i was thinking 31's(at's) anyone got a pic of 4.5" and 31's?? we towed my 92 mj about...75-85 miles with a 93 grand cherokee I6. it was on a car dolly, and it worked fine, just took FOREVER!!(50 on the interstate)

you used a xj lift right? if so did you use the xj aal? i am looking into getting the same lift and wondering if the xj aal works with the mj spring pack Rich

just got home from picking up my new mj(11:30pm) took forever because of traffic but now i have 2 mj's i left work to get it a 4 pm. so its been a long day. 92 short bed ax15 I6 4.0 H.O. 4x4 bought it off of speedbump towed it home(on a car dolly) with an I6 grand cherokee, i think we toped out at 55mph, LONG drive, but worth it. i'll post pics tomorrow, and it will be in the project section soon, got some plans for this one :cheers: Rich

i got air in the lines on my yj and it was hard to steer for about a week. then it just seemed to work itself out.

i just lost my brakes. don't know what happened. the rear drums and lines were all replaced last summer and it has been working fine. i was on my way home from work today and they did work till i was about a mile from home and then the i pushed the pedel to the floor and i had nothing. its raining right now so i can't see any leaks, but where should i start looking?

mine did the same thing when we put the new tank/pump in. it ended up being a loose wire.

its definately getting better pretty soon we'll have her out on the trail(hopefully mine too) :cheers:

about 2 yrs ago i fractured my(right) hip playing paintball :roll: (i thought i just had a dead leg) i tried to drive myself home, but pushing the gas brought tears to my eyes. i used my left foot to put on the brakes and had my buddy drive me home. that was about ten in the morning, and i finally decided to go tho the hospital at ten that night. couldn't drive for like two or three weeks

did the d35 ever come with a LSD?

who else makes mj leaf packs? from what i've read, rusty's 4" leaf packs are the way to go if you're staying sua. but....i am open to suggestions. no soa for me though

so i finaly made up my mind abd decided to go with a 4.5" lift, not sure if i'm gonna go with 31" or 32" tires guess i'll figure that out later. i'm goin with rusty's 4" leaf packs for the rear. just waiting for my yj to sell so i cand start my build up. now i'm stuck..... :ack: should i go with rusty's 4.5" lift or rough country's 4.5" lift??? :dunno: i would like to know what you guys think. how much would you charge for that roll bar? its exactly what i'm lookin for.

does anybody know where i can get a 4" mj/xj lift? allready know what I'm doing to the rear just can't find a 4" lift. and i don't really want to use a coil spacer. thanks, Rich

For a lift of this size what do i have to upgrade in the front of my truck(already decided what i'm doing with the rear) i know i need lower control arms, do i need uppers? should they be adjustable? do i need a new track bar? drop pitman arm? also looking for good shocks, i don't want too harsh of a ride as this is my dd, but i still want to be able to run some trails. only going w/31x10.5s. thanks for the help

$500 MJ, your post said that you had a 4" lift but your sig says 3.5" what kind/size are you runnin? i like the look.
