  1. they look like american racing torque thrust D's. . . maybe II's, but; I think D's. Both are Very popular with the muscle car crowd.
  2. How about this one. This dude can't spell comanche either. :D http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-Che ... enameZWDVW
  3. Absolutely. For that kind of coin, I'll find a set of used rims/tires. . . thanks, Dirt.
  4. How wide are the spacers? How much are they? I could do those instead of aftermarket rims. . .
  5. Getting a 3 inch lift like the ones on ebay. Rough Country. Will be getting aftermarket wheels. Would like tires to be about even with the outside edge of the stock flares. What backspace for that? Truck is daily driver for my son and rarely sees off road. When it does, it is just trails. Nothing radical. What's the biggest tires you recommend for this size lift and wheel? No cutting. 31's? 32's? Doubt if 33's are an option, but; if they are, let me know. Thanks, Mike.
  6. Some people are just stupid. . . It cracks me up how narrow minded some people are. :headpop: YJ's aren't jeeps because they have square headlights. TJ's aren't jeeps because they have too many creature comforts and coil springs. Liberty's are not jeeps because they have Independent front axles. MJ's aren't jeeps because they are pickups. and on and on. My book says all are jeeps. Jeep is a manufacturer. Some of them I've liked and others not, but; they are all jeeps. All fine vehicles that do exactly what they were intended for. :wall:
  7. Be careful with that crap. A son of a good friend of mine was changing the clutch in a Mitsu Eclipse and the thing dropped on his head/face. He was looking off to the side and it kind of landed on the side of his face. It broke several areas of his head/cheek bone. He is OK, but it was MUCHO painful. :ack:
  8. ;) I'm thinkin' of staying away from Rusty's. :D Sounds like the rough country isn't bad though. thanks for the input.
  9. Agreed. Ride doesn't matter to me. My son wants his truck lifted. Mostly for looks. You know how kids are. He's 17. He doesn't care about ride either. He does very little light off roading. Mostly just driving around town, etc. What I want to make sure of is that I get what I need and it all fits and isn't poor quality that won't last or is unsafe.
  10. I haven't heard much. The only ones I have heard bad about was Rusty's, but; I have no experience with any of them. . .
  11. Hey, Just joined the forum. Been on Jeepforum and JeepsUnlimited. name there is 97_4popper. Question: What do you folks think of the 3" lift for MJ's that is always on Ebay? http://cgi.ebay.com/86-91-MJ-Jeep-Coman ... dZViewItem I had been considering that for the sons truck. . .
