  1. 87, somone in my clup posted this. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=303893 I will probobly get my spacers from here.
  2. my camaro powered mj roars with 3.55 gears. it's hella quick, i had it to 117 mph with my little 235's on it...according to my buddies gps. actually, it only shakes from 78 to 83 mph and is smooth otherwise...not much death rattle at all.... You're an insane mofo ;)
  3. oh haha well my truck is legal in texas i just put it on there so i wouldnt get bothered... iam sure not havin one wouldnt have hurt but i didnt wanna chance it, and iam runnin SOA on the 8.8 so iam guessin 7" of lift? or so soa and 34's is legal. long as you have flares covering the tires, headlights at legal height and the bumper a legal height your good. and soa with the 8.8 will not net you 7in of lift. you have more like 5in of lift. oh and ya need a rear bumper cops can get you for that. a guy in my local club got pulled over for that (no rear bumper and the class3 trailer hitch don't cut it aparently). Massachusetts sucks for stuff like that. There is some stupid math formula meant to figure out the maximum lift for any vehicle. The MJ is 3.2" I think...legally
  4. I got a creosote burn last year. Burned for 2 days before it started to feel better. Getting them on a regular basis must'nt be fun.
  5. Swamped, do you have any aditional lift in the rear of that MJ? I'm kinda worried about the cops now with my SOA and 34's :brows: . Looks great! I want to do a waggy 44 swap some time in a few years.
  6. I'm perfetly happy with my John Deeres at work. Greasy old ~40 year old diesel tractors that don't work right. Nothing better!! Anything death related freaks me out. Seeing a dead person makes me all squeemish. When I was in the hopspital room (almost one year to the day) the night my grandmother died...I couldnt look at her. I kept thinking she was moving and it freaked the $#!+ out of me.
  7. jesus christ. two jobs i would give up just about anything (even my mj) to avoid!
  8. I never really get bored at work. I get really sleepy though. But if I fall asleep...I cause probobly close to $5000 of damage and might die. So far so good though.
  9. How do I do that? Some of the valve stems are metal..and some are pretty weird shaped.
  10. I tried to pop the bead today..but I was unsuccessful. How do you do it? I let all the air out of the tire, used a crowbar/screw driver then ended up parking my XJ on the sidewall, and it still stayed. What is the seceret here? I'm thinking of just bringing it down to the local garrage. They mount/balance tires for $12 a piece. Only two need it...so I'll probobly have them do that and clean it up for me.
  11. What would cause this? Tire, or rim? Hope its the rim. I like these tires.
  12. Holy crap! I thought you were upwards of 24 or 25. 8)
  13. 20 as of April 23. Not allowed to  yet...only another year.

    cool jump

if he'd worn a full helmet & 5 point harness, probly would've come out unscathed... just with a sore @$$ :brows: that's rediculous though. wouldn't catch ME anywhere NEAR some BS like that. i'm trying to make it through to my 18th birthday ;) You're younger then I thought :chillin:
  15. I actually have! Bought 297x shafts and joints and unit bearings from a local club member. I just have to install new axle seals then its good to go! :brows:
  16. new swampahzzzzzzzzzzzzzz for my birthday present. 34x9.5x15. I talked to 87manche via PM and he spoke highly of these tires...so I bought them. Four for $350. I'm just going to get some spacers and run those...I like these rims, and they are 5x5.5.
  17. I have a clunk, and I believe that its just the tracbar that has come slightly loose on the frame mount. You could try to tighten that before spending money...because its free. :brows:
  18. probobly 4"
  19. She is very cute John. Comanche looks pretty nice too.
  20. I agree. It appeared like all that was needed was some steeringwheel work and a teeny bit more wheel speed.
  21. lol, I read that different (chest enhancment :brows: )
  22. John, here you go ;) http://www.ericsxj.com/winch/winchbumper.htm
  23. I have those rims on my XJ. I like them a lot...but they have rock rash now and one has a fairly nice chip out of the side.
