I'm not worried about breaking the rear axle with the anemic 2.8 but if I wanted to lift a tad more I don't want to sink money in an axle to regear I'll end up replacing anyway, I can see a Healthy newer more hp V6 or V8 in it's future.

oh I can weld, wasn't worried about re-welding on spring perches, just for a possibly stronger axle than the D35 for in the future. Otherwise, prob do an 8.8 or 9"

Gathering info: Comanche parts suppliers

Sounds good to me, no such thing as too many resources -

Not sure if there is a similar resource sticky or not, I'm sure Pete will comment here shortly, personally, I think there should be one showing vendor or used sources, but links tend to go dead, especially used items. But a crossover sticky of what fits would be great, I'm still navigating the site. -
are there any axles out there 35/44/60/70 etc that have the same perches regardless if Jeep or not that match the MJ, I have low 3 something rear axle ratio and want to upgrade to 4:10/4:11 and easier to swap axles rather that rebuilding mine.

I will tell you this, I've seen some TJ rims need a spacer before fitting some XJ axles, some aluminum TJ rims had a lip inside the center hole, but fit on the TJ, sounds weird right? The rim measured 70mm and the center hub (XJ) was 72mm, I either had to grind out the aluminum inside the wheel 2mm or use an adapter. Maybe they weren't true TJ wheels, but was told they were. pic below of wheel

I also found a bunch of the same carbs for sale, Rochecter Varajet II's, some have some minor differences, but all look like good donors for the most part, even some brand new nos ones as well.
-
audio only no video, but no mind, my idle solenoid isn't even hooked up. I'm not driving mine yet, gotta sort a bunch of stuff out first, carb being one of them, wires cut and run everywhere, no washer pump, weak wipers, starter doesn't engage always without some grind, so new starter and battery, wires grounds, sort out electrical...after it warms up a bit lol. But I still love it!

some one should rescue this

If I wasn't trying to free up some space I think I would by this one...but then I'll never get anything fixed if I keep on buying more projects lol -

There's several in various forms of disarray ranging from 1300 to 2000, 88's to 90 models, most are straight six 5 speeds in Ohio or nearby -
That's a YJ thing too, write ups on removing the extra and gaining more fuel.

Oh, and I bought my wife a high end laser engraver for Christmas, she's been itching to get it setup for our Craft Business, and she'll be engraving coffee cups soon and I'm thinking some key chains for CC may be in the future. Thoughts?? When I get my website up this spring/summer (HobbyCraftsUSA.com) any CC stuff I make with club permission, all sales minus cost I'll donate right back to the club.
-
I'll donate more to help keep this going, being a new member to this awesome site, the least I can do. I go to a lot of places during the summer, beaches up and down the coast of Lake Erie and clubs and Jeep fest. I don't see a lot of Comanche's but will be keeping my eye out, as many CJ/TJ owners tend to have a second or third Jeep toy...infections spread lol. I'll probably order a couple more Jeep CC decals besides the recent order and even place them on my TJ as I use it a lot during the summer to help advertise.

Also, some ford rangers explorers have same bolt pattern 15's and almost identical offset Craigslist and Marketplace can be your friend here.
