I'm sorry I din't clarify. I mean in heavy rains and wet roads. Would it be alright for more traction? I've heard of it done with newer vehicles so I wan't sure. I just know my tires get a little bit slippery because of wet traction. And the noise from the fan is like a loug rolling growl. Is there anything I could do to help it? Thanks

Well i have a couple questions. First, I have the locked over CAD. I was wondering if it's alright for me to drive it in 4x4 Hi about ten miles from my house to school. Will it hurt anything? Speeds up to 70? Also, I have a noise with every setting except vent and heat in my truck. I think that it's my fan up front. Defrost and bi-level and a/c are the ones. What should I try on this fan? Can we get the info on our trucks this easily?

Anyone else with a 5 speed 4.0 hear a clunk in the rear end when starting off or even shifting gears maybe? I'm have u-joints replaced. Sound right?

Oh I forgot. I have a 5 speed and the np231 also if that changes anything.

I've been trying to figure this out. I drained my oil and put a new gasket on my plug and all. I think it slowed my leak but there is still drips of the oil pan. Also, the transmission is soaked. Whats up with that? Am I hurting stuff? What can I do? I've even retightened my plug. I don't want to strip anything. I'm not sure where these are coming from. Please help.Thanks!

Anyone here have a write up or pics of trans-case and trans fluid drain and refill. Where are the fill holes and drain plugs? What type of oil should I use and how much? I have a 1987 4.0 4x4 Comanche. Thanks!

Has anyone ever cut off their catalytic cinverters and ran without one? I have 1n 87 Renix 4.0. I'm wanting a loud, deep rumble. What muffler shoould I choose? I was thinking magnaflow or flowmasters. I'm not sure. I want it to sound deep and not like a race car. I was thinking about taking the cat off for a deeper, louder sound, but will it mess up my computer system or have any affect? Thanks!

Also how easy will they come off afterwards? I don't want them to like blow off. Can you get the tape at wal mart? Also has anyone ever painted emblems? What was your experience and how did you do it? thanks!

Is this all you ave to put in when you put em on a comanche in the front? Is this easy to do? I found some 1" spacers on ebay and was wondering if it's as easy as it seems? Or do you have to do other things to it? just trying to get about an inche in the front. Thanks!

Alright thanks! And I can't hardly find anything. What are the sizes of the center and side belts? Is the middle a 40" adjustable with a 20" female buckle? Or is it shorter? It's a bench seat.Thanks.

I have an 87 comanche with the 4.0. How much oil does it hold? I think its 6 quarts. I'm going to change it. Am I correct? Also, I'm in a bind for seatbelts. I can't find any. I'm looking for tan. At least the buckles (female end that bolts to the floor) if anyone has any. I have a post in the wanted section. Thanks!
