    Just venting

Just had a bad few days and thought that I would vent instead of paying attention in my math class (I can't understand this professor any ways) Going to school 4 days a week and working 5-6 days (45+ hrs) a week is SO HARD! I've been so busy I have no time to breath and I'm just going insane! I've had no time in a week or more to just sit and do nothing. Just to name a few things: My truck still is NOT done after going on over a mouth, today i even had to take a taxi to school. And the few parts that I would like to get for my truck before it gets done every body wants insane prices for used parts. I still have not gotten two of my books for school which I ordered 2+ weeks ago which is getting me behind in class's. Yesterday I almost go into a wreck tying to go to school to fast because I woke up late in a friends car. I've only been getting maybe 6 hr of sleep every night, and yesterday I put a gal of ice cream in the sink and put the bowl in the freezer ALL night! Every time I do get some time to my self and want to eat a home (which I almost never get to do) there is bad food in the fridge because living alone SUCKS and nobody is there to toss out that bad milk or mop the floor or clean any thing but me :( oh and today I broke my belt, flip flop, and phone case all in the same day. Any ways thanks for listening and have a good day... I won't Brandon

    Lift parts

I thought that posting a wanted add over at CF would give me better results... Now I remember why I like it here more. What I'm looking for is: 1.) An adjable track bar. 2.) A set of adjustable contol arms. 3.) would like to have some newer 6.5" lift colds so I don't have to use a spacer. What I have other then a little bit of $ to give is 1.) 2" coil spacers will only got rid of them if I can get some 6.5" coils 2.) a pair of 4.5" RC shocks only had them for about 3 months. 3.) 4.5" RC lift springs also only going to give up if I can get 6.5" lift coils. 4.) RC lower contol arms that came with my 4.5" lift kit. If you have any of the things that I'm looking for then please let me know. Thanks Brandon
  6. So I see $ ain't as tight as you were thinking huh? Great find can't wait to se what you do with it  Brandon
  7. Yeah I'm sure it can be. But if you remove the bed then you will beable to re do the frame as well. And sorry for reading your post wrong. Brandon
  8. You can't remove the cab its unabody and this might help: http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=31381&p=314242#p314242 Brandon
  9. Great work and nice pic's  Brandon
  10. I have floor mats :D And for me "mud" is mucky water and that is supper hard to clean out of the carpet. I think I'll take your advise and go get some JY gray carpet, cut out it's insulation out and put in some of that insulation eagle told me about. Thanks again y'all  Brandon
  11. I got to see this truck in person  Rich your such a cool person and I'm glad you got MJOTM well deserved. Brandon
  12. Why not? Brandon Because it has no insulation in it. it'll be fuzzy on your feet, but there's nothing in it to keep heat at bay. the insulating padding under the stock Jeep carpet is the key. the thick rubber backing on the stock carpet also helps. your cheapest route might be to get a carpet from a junkyard MJ and power wash it at the carwash. then add in aftermarket insulation. Ok sure, but won't the carpet get moldy/ruined after a few trips though mud? Thats the only reason I didnt want to do this because i thought it would be a to clean. What do you think? Thanks :D Brandon Brandon
  13. Thank you that looks good for insolation just need somthing for carpet now. :wrench: Yeah but won't that be just as hot as no carpet? Why not? Brandon
  14. Well I would like to leave no carpet in there but the heat is unbearable down here and can't ride around with no a/c and no carpet. Thanks for the idea tho :) Brandon
  15. After reading the other thread on carpet I'm now remembering that I need some type of carpet. I don't think that new or used stock carpet will suit my needs because I'm sure that I'll have water in the cab more then once within the next year. So I'm looking for ideas for good looking maybe indoor outdoor carpet. I also need some type of water proof insulation. So any thoughts on what I should do would be helpfull. Thank you Brandon
  16. Nice! Brandon
  17. Its working, I've scratched up the powdercoat pretty good, as well as the gas tank skid that I built. So....yup its doing its job. Very glad I modified it for better clearance! ! Oh I'm sure, if you didn't you would have been screwed! Pics of the under side would be great to :) Brandon
  18. So how is the tcase skid that you got working out for you? Brandon
  19. This is how the truck sat after installing just the back half of the RC lift almost a year ago now (wow this has taken forever!): And this is how it sat after installing the hellscreek 4.5" leaf pack but leaving the 2" RC shackles (which I latter found out if you ordered the 4.5" lift kit from hellscreek they would not have included them because all you would have needed was the lift pack and not the shackles): I hope that will be helpful Brandon
  20. it's not Rough Country's fault that my old leafs where sagging before I got the kit. It is their fault that they sell the wrong add a leaf with the kit though. On mine the add a leaf did absolutely nothing. It had less arch that my other leafs, how is that supposed to work? It's gotta be for a cherokee or something. Yep mine did to, I'll post up a pic if I can find one. Brandon
  21. That looks scary, but realy fun! Don't dent up your MJ to much and have fun :) add more pics when you get a chance  Brandon
  22. Looks like y'all had a great time! Cool pics and nice trucks  Brandon
  23. Man that thing changes hands alot. Brandon
  24. I think this will be helpfull http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=22294&start=0 Brandon
  25. This varies from state to state and company to company. I wrecked an 88 Ranger.. State Farm totalled it out. I bought it back for $300. I kept my original clear title back. In Illinois, over 7 years old and you can get the clean title back. :agree: i should have made my self a bit clear here in virginia we would get a salvage title if it has been considered a loss, as for how long it stays in a salvage status :dunno: once the vehicle gets a "salvage title" it will always have one unfortunantly. Unless the dash from another truck is swapped in...
