I don't care on which one. Y'all choose lol. I don't mind driving but camping onsite is always a plus... Minus the no booze deal at the park.. Or is that really inforced.? I like to unwind at the end of the day, especially after wheeling hard.. You need a mental break so to speak lol

Looking like its going to be August then. At this point I don't really see a need to do a poll on this. As stated, everyone who has posted seems fine with August. As for the actual date in August, I don't care personally but if anyone isn't fine with the first weekend or even August for that matter, speak now or hold your peace! Lol. I just want everyone (who is serious) to have a fair chance.. I mean its only been a few days since the poll closing on location.

Man that's crazy. Maybe they went through some changes since I last ordered (maybe two weeks ago). He did have to manually enter the full discount as it only knocked off a small bit when he first did it.
-
Wasnt bad in my parts. Mainly rain with winds. There are lots of trees down at work though.. At least chainsaw work isn't bad with cooler temps.. Plus a tractor and blade help a lot too
-
That makes zero sense. You talked to devin? I get a discount on everything I buy from 4wd hardware. I don't think I've ever been told no.
-
Done. It was a tight fit. it even snapped into place lol. Going to SMORR on Friday and knocked out 90% of what I needed to do.. Still have to make a harness for the light bar but that's about it. Ill be shock less for this run but I am going to order them this week.

I wouldn't mind August. So far it works best for everyone who has posted..

$#!&. Lol. Good call. Don't know what I was thinking. It's in Indiana.
-
Yes it is. I ordered duratracs for my dd/tow rig and it was a good bit of savings

Light bar about to be in its permanent home.. A little uneven but I can shim or just say @#$% it.. Time will tell..
-
Call devin!! His extension is 4835. (Look in vendor section under the classifieds) He is our club rep, he gets us the deal. I've ordered from him several times recently.. Though I'm sure you could just tell anyone but he told me we should go through him.. I don't think I've ever used my card or card number but I have it still..

Poll is gone. Next years trip will be at Badlands in Attica, IN.. We now need to pick a date. Ill post up another poll but what month(s) is everyone who voted or is going thinking?? I'm thinking May-June myself.. Throw out a few and we'll get this rolling.
-
Rear bumper done! Minus yellow paint of course. Also got the light bar tabs and rear shock mounts on. Three years without rear shocks or recovery points. Saying its going to be nice is a huge understatement!
-
Pretty safe to say badlands is it but last chance for anyone to vote is today! Lock down tomorrow
-
I bet your happy.. I remember waiting 3 months once and it was rough as hell. Lots of long hours of sitting and just, looking haha

How are the trails rated? I guess by colors..? I'm used to the 1 to 5 scale. So going off my scale ill run anything up to 4s.. There's not much I won't try

Thanks bud. I don't take any credit except for stepping up to get the ball rolling.. That's all it usually takes and I knew there were at least a few of us who travel to wheel.. So if anything the 3 of us (me, you and wade) would be there if possible lol. I'm still encouraging every member. wheeler, stocker, street queen, to show up that can make it. Not only will it bring us all together as a club but we'll get to hang around other Comanches! The way I see it is, it's a Friday thru Sunday deal with the main shindig going on Saturday/Saturday night. Friday and Sunday are for traveling or wheeling or going to a spot in town if the 2wders want to cruise the streets. I don't know what's in the area so anyone who has been has any thoughts, toss them out there. (Because its looking like badlands for the win) Of course as mentioned, there are easy trails for stockers to ride around on. If anyone has opens seats, I'd say jump in for a ride if your looking for the harder stuff ;)

Haha really! It'll be nice to look at the group and not see an abundance of wranglers or XJs.
-
If that was the case you could just post in the meet n greet section since itd be smaller groups. These were started to draw in more people from a greater area. I know it doesnt work to everyone's advantage but it will work to quite a few more of us who otherwise would never wheel together. People from different areas and backgrounds. I think the east and west meets are a good idea. We'll just have to rotate locations every year. Hence badlands if it wins, wouldn't be an option the following year and hopefully more people will be inclined to join/show interest if this one is a success. Then we could go more east or south or where ever to accommodate those who can't drive longer distances
-
True. It is what it is. I hope the people voting are actually serious about going and not just voting to vote. That would screw things around for people who voted who really want to go.. But again, it is what it is.. This coming Sunday I'm closing the poll and we'll have our spot. Next is voting on the date.. Which I can see will be fun to do to say the least.. Lol.. I'm thinking spring/early summer..

Bumper almost done. Need to add a d ring spot, weld and paint it.. Also cut out new brackets for the light bar mounts on the front bumper and cut the old ones off..

Snag that vin number and post it up if you don't mind. -
Man that bed cover is sweet. Somebody needs to add that and go military theme on their MJ..

You did this well and fairly. The member map does only show the members who bothered to enter their location and the choices are from those who bothered to submit ideas and the poll is a result of those who bothered to vote. If others elsewhere had bothered to do either of the three then things might look different. The inference has to be that if people can't be bothered to do any of those things what are the odds of them showing up anyway? Thank you. I tried to be a fair as I could going off the members. Sure there are other parks more to the east/South/north but no one stepped up to the plate and showed interest in those places. If anyone has issues (not saying anyone does mind you) get your fellow MJers in your area to vote! Afterall it's up to you guys to choose! Also I voted for Harlan. Always wanted to go there but it's an 8 hr drive one way, badlands is 7, windrock is 6, ivy was 10, tellico was 9 and smorr is 4. I know not everyone can travel huge distances but again, it's not any single persons choice. There's always next year or a southern meet up as suggested..
-
Hell I live in the south too, just not as far as you.. There were plenty of options from north to south, east to west. I gave the members every chance to name a place. plus I believe it was just a dividing line in the country to make it easier to pull off. Not stricktly on the east coast deal.. By all means though, start another thread but I don't think you'll get the turn out we would with this one.. You might though and I would show if it lines up
