  1. A buddy hooked me up with this for free today.. Now I've got to figure out where to put it.. Maybe an insanely bright reverse light lol
  2. It's an hour closer than harlan to me, so I'm not complaining lol
  3. As far as I know It should just be at the top of this thread..
  4. Ill be camping on site, where ever we choose
  5. Finally received my 12" curved light bar two months later,,, Matt!
  6. Tie in brackets knocked out, minus a little trimming once I fit the box in there. Also still waiting to hear back from the guy with my box steel..
  7. Poll is live!! Vote, vote, vote! Ill leave it up for two weeks or so for those members who arent creepers on here all the time..
  8. Cut more off the bed for the rear bumper and made temps for the tie-in brackets. I still need to trim them some more[br][br][br][br][br][br][br][br]Also made a way to bolt down the spare tire since tie downs weren't the best idea anymore [br][br][br][br][br][br][br][br][br][br]It was just test fit. I'd like to get bolts to use lug nuts but lowes only had 4" bolts so I've got to use these until then.. The plate was 3/16", 7x9". Surely that'll hold it good..
  9. Thanks. Added to previous list
  10. I'm sure there will always be dirt roads to ride in whichever park we go to.. 2wd MJs are welcome and camping is probably a good possibility. Even though it is a wheeling trip, I'm sure there will be others things to do around the area as well Looking like these parks will be listed.. Badlands Harlan Hmt (not sure on actual park name or place, in WV) Smorr Durhamtown Tellico Coal Creek Any others or am I missing one or two?
  11. It has to be a set truck. It's the same one and background as the pic I posted from parks and recreation.
  12. It's not going to be a straight tube bed. Just enough tube to support the prerunner bedsides and a few cross over brace bars from side to side. The trick I see, is figuring out how to mount two spare tires upright and side by side in the back....
  13. How about this week, anyone who has a place that wants a chance, say it! Obviously we're trying to keep a central location, which does limit us but who knows there could be a hidden park we don't know about........ Lol Next week I'll throw up a poll and we'll leave it for awhile.
  14. We can also do a poll on location as well. I know harlan, badlands and hmt are on there. Any other parks in the middle somewhere we're forgetting.? The sooner we pick the place, we can set the date.
  15. I'm not sure on how traveling on a holiday will work out and some people do the family thing. Plus I'm thinking over crowded trails being the 4th and a national clubs event..
  16. It's just temporary. So I didn't have to rig up $#!& to hold my gas tank and exhaust.. I'm thinking tube with bedsides added..
  17. Everything..... No clue why, it just happened.
  18. New battery for it today and it had some more metal cut off. I might of went overboard with it this time... Oh well..
  19. Any pics of the rear upper frame mounts in place?
  20. I know lots of guys who go to lbl and its not a crawling place. I believe there's one spot with shelf like ledges to climb. The rest are trails a stock truck can drive. It is a great place, just not the kind of place where we'd all be satisfied.. I'm not in control of where we do this but I was under the impression that its a wheeling pow wow and a good bit that have replied are crawlers. We can discuss any place and any location but ill pass on LBL and its only hours from me lol. Kentucky would be a good central location though, that is true.. Is there a better park anywhere in the state that has something to offer everyone..? I'd like to see some stockers looking good too at these events..
  21. WV is also about a ten hour drive for me. Not really a big issue but badlands is only seven :) What are more options? Any park in the region should be up for debate IMO.
  22. I'm on the map now
  23. Well as of now it seems most of us showing interest are in the Mideast to east areas. I think I'll split this thread off from one club pow wow to just the "eastern pow wow". If anyone wants to start the western one, by all means please do so.
  24. That's what we are doing this for.. If anyone is SERIOUS about coming, lets start a list, figure out everyone's location and go from there. We can always set the time during the beginning of next year. That way people will still have time to put in for vacation or save a little if need be. Honestly I was thinking spring/early summer.. I'm in TN as well but don't mind a drive. I don't want to trek half way across the country either though.
  25. Badlands wouldn't be bad drive for me. That's kind of where I was thinking around KY, IN, OH area. The more people chime in on going, the more we can adjust for location..
