  1. They are not printed, I just used a dremel to cut out the stock tail light enough to fit the JK tail lights. Mounting holes lined up pretty close to internals on OEM comanche lights. In order to blend the 2, I just sprayed the finished product with bedliner after taping the lenses of the new JK tail lights.
  2. I like this idea, that's what gave me the idea to try this. The lines are not very far off as you can see by my complete lack of crafty skills. I'm an engineer, not an artist. :)
  3. Here is some more angles. Today I'm going to work on the black Jeep vinyl for the tail gate.
  4. Coheed, Here are a few other angles. Sorry, she's pretty dirty.
  5. 89MJ, Thank You eaglescout526, I looked on Ebay a few days ago and all I could find is this one for 82-87. 1983-1987 AMC JEEP WRANGLER YJ COMANCHE GTA TBI FUEL INJECTION SYSTEMS MANUAL vg | eBay Do you think it will be the same for my 88? My MJ runs very well, but the idle is high (1100-1200 rpm) and my stepper motor doesn't do anything. Its not even touching the linkage. I know the system needs some tlc. Thanks, Greentoy
  6. Minuit, Yes, they have LED sidemarkers built in. ghetdjc320, That would be a great idea! The shape and size is a good match.
  7. Wow! Those look like new! Great Job.
  8. Pete M, Yeah, I like the gladiator vibes it brings.
  9. Just did this to mine today. Wrangler LED lights mounted inside oem lenses. Fit was actually pretty easy. Thoughts?
  10. Big Dan, The wrangler lights have 2 mounting screws that come in from the front and a tab in the back. I used some small machine screws, washers (for spacers) and nylon lock nuts to secure the two together. The back tab lines up almost perfectly with part of the old bulb housing in the back of the oem lenses. Tomorrow I will unscrew one of the lights again and take a photo so you can see the cutouts in the back.
  11. Big Dan, I pretty much just ordered the lights from amazon and used my dremel and some patience to cut out the existing lenses to mount the LED inside. It mounted very solid inside the old lenses. I painted the old lenses with bed liner spray paint. I'll try to put together some more info in the next few days. What would you like to know?
  12. Modified my existing lenses to fit wrangler led lights.
  13. Well, I just finished up a taillight upgrade on my 88. Thoughts or suggestions? First photo is my existing lights when I got the truck.
