it's ok. I mean I am "restoring" the interior giving it new paint. It seems not like a full resto mod but I am definitely saving it and giving it some love

yeah the details on what makes in a mt are foggy. some had d44 rears not all some had trans coolers not all some. mine has a d44 and a trans cooler theres plenty of other more resto worthy mjs out there. theres a black short box on ksl that is a great candidate. https://cars.ksl.com/listing/6871987#

its a blessing and a curse because they are all really mint and expensive and don't lend themselves to being cut up. but in the grand scheme of things I would say that Its not like I am going to pull and @MiNi Beaston it. it will look clean whatever I do to it. IMHO a jeep is supposed to be decent offroad. (and yes I know that stock comanches are fine)

your right I guess. In my mind it's kinda too far gone for a restoration to many miles. I mean the two really metric ton parts the trans cooler and the leafs are still going to be functional

huh didn't realize that that sucks. It was weird because everyone was like a metric ton?????? and I didn't think they were that rare but no being on this forum for a while I realize how few they are. it feels good to have something one of a kind

well yes the there where no swbs mts made is obvious. but it seems like there would be a number at jeep or something. was the mt package on all years?

I only know of mine and this one there must be a number out there
