  5. I fixed my air intake today with a 3in flex hose kit that I found at auto zone. I pulled the old hose off the rubber ends. The only problem is the new hose screws on the out side of the rubber boots instead of the inside. Also I shortened up the hose kit because it was way to long.

  14. You never know in this time away from the dealership you might find something you like doing a whole lot better.
  15. My Daily and 1st new car ever bought
  16. We are hoping not to touch the logo if we can help it. A guy we know at another body shop says he can match the patina.
  17. It is amazing how nice it is, it has the original rubber willys stamped front rubber floor mat and still has repair orders hanging in the back. There are new tubes for radio’s and t.v. In the bottom glove box under the seats in the front.
  18. This is a 53 wagon my dad and I picked up last year to restore and get back on the road. We bought it from a older gentleman that we know in the willys overland jeepster club that my dad is in ( we have 3 jeepsters). This wagon was crashed in the 70’s some time from what we were told. And has been barn kept the whole time. With a gas tank bye pass and a fresh battery we started it and drove it on the trailer. We have a body shop lined up to pull on the A-pillar before we cut the roof and A-pillar off. We have another wagon for a parts car. We are going to try and save as much as the original paint as we can. To bad it was wrecked because it’s 90% rust free
  19. Looks like the kit that’s in my truck
  20. That car is worth way more than scrap.
  21. In the fall 50/50 diesel fuel and motor oil in a bug sprayer. Spray inside doors, inner fender wells, inside tailgate inside rockers and everywhere you can think water can get on the under side. Let it sit and drip for a few hours. Then a day or two later wash the out side of the truck. The truck will not smell like diesel. We do it to my dads 07 dodge 2500 4x4 no rust and yes I am in Michigan. Or you could do fluid film and do the same thing. But you are going to have to do it every fall
  22. Kind of looks like a Christmas tree clip
  23. On my tj that I wheel I run savvy adjustable control arms with JKS 3in springs and rancho rs5000x shocks ( for now plan on going fox).
