  1. fired my mj up and drove around little, still working on the xj cluster gauges' wires conversion thinking about paint my mj color Dark Blue with Black stripes?, black rims and black wheel fender flares also sandblast and repaint my axles color black with dark blue differential cover :)
  2. nice mj! wanna trade interior? i got some light blue interiors. I'm planning to get interior swap to black :)
  3. u can but u can risk to have some deadly shock so i would just check all connections, power, ground, and try check the starter solenoid. you can remove it easily by just remove two bolts and battery cable. make sure your disconnect the battery first before touch the starter. and i agree to check the crankshaft sensor also try check the shift linkage from shifter to transmission (tr-transmission range)
  4. don't worry ur not only one who have front brake only in comanche. i have that issue too. because i got axles swapped with no brake on rear. (ford 9" rear) i gotta to make new brake line, parking cable, backplate, etc.
  5. walked past it :fs1: soon going to do mechnaic conversion to electronic system with gauges stuff this weekend.. hopefully
  6. how come? i don't think they r ghey. i mean tints them not smoke them.
  7. alright thats true but i would just smoke whole the taillight like 40% tint
  8. got my key replaced to new one :) no more snapped key drove my jeep around the parklot to keep oil, grease, etc. move around (circulation)
  9. i didnt think about that haha i will do it when i get replace one :) but don't it be a easy for u if u just remove taillight off without need use newpapers? just a 2 cent

  12. anyone have xj wiring diagram for cluster guage too cuz i just find out that my connector wires r from xj so i gotta know which those wires should connect to mjs wires... thanks
  13. just taped the whole wires in one connector to keep it neatly and still working on 1987 wire conversion from cables (mechanic to electronic) i just realize that my cluster gauges was relate mechanic system so i gotta conversion it up :( anyone know how to do it? if yes then pm me :) bump bump
  14. no idea i bought mj from guy near my home in chicagoland.
  15. fighted with cluster guages wires. someone idiot cutted the wires and leave it in electric tapes which my cluster gauges won't light up, rpm, mph, battery, etc won't functional at all so i hooked some back together so now finally the light was lit up well :) havent test those gauges cause my key was snapped off :( blame on brass metal dense quality
  16. started working on Cluster Gauge pigtails.
  17. I'm still gotta to find rear 9" ford brake kits and brake line plus parking cable too. so far no oil leaks. still coolant.
  18. or get 9" ford rear like mine and its make my wheel look alot smaller on truck since the axle is alot wider :)
  19. I don't understand the question. First you say there's no split, then you say the hose that connects to the split was visegripped. What's the question? sorry for your misunderstood and its my fault for not explain clear theres actually there no split and the hose that go connect the split is vise gripped because there missing split and brake lines to each sides so the hoses have nothing to connect and just go leaking so its vise gripped better? I'm not sure just good disc brakes that would stop my soon as be bad a$$ comanche well and good brake for off road explorer brakes sound good to me and thanks ill check the ford motorsports... :typing: thanks! cheers!
  20. I'm planning to get disc brake conversion also noticed that rear axles don't have brake lines to split pressure each side and the hose thats gonna connect to the split was visegripped :( so do u think i gotta replace those hose and is there any possible to go to special shop to make a brake lines?
  21. very impressive with all your hard works than mine in automobile shop  i knew it that there would be issue with diesel I/C but remember that you can put it anywhere but of course it gonna need some good air flow thru it like F1, corvette, semi trucks trailer with refrigerant, etc.
  22. interesting.... i didnt know that some spiders can live thru winter. i was thinking of them to surive thru winter by hibernate
  23. great deal! thank you very much.

  25. Friendly advice from an oldtimer: While it's better than no reference, please don't waste your hard earned $$ on the Haynes stuff. Save up for the factory FSMs. It's the best tool you'll ever have and the investment will pay for itself many times over if you do your own maintenance as most of us do. total true. I didnt think that also I really love my Technical Information System or TIS (Toyota's program) but its only for toyota, lexus and scion which ialmost bought toyota T100 but got comanche indeed haha thanks to wake me up to not buy Haynes. I havent heard factory fsms before
