I have same thing. I had a 2.4 and swaped in a 4.0 from another mj. Put new clutch and connecting parts on as was doing the swap. Mine stops if I rest foot on the pedal just enough to move Pedal but not engage it. Mechanic friend that done the swap that I absolutely 100% fully trust said it might be one of the teeth slightly bent. We are going to put a spring on the pedal to pull the slack out of it then I’ll drive it till it goes, then replace it.

I got a 2 pack of 194 from O’Reillys just to see if I wanted to go all way and they are dimmable from first turn all the way down. To do all it will be$$. But full range of dimming. Put one in the 4x4 part and also dims great too.

They fairly hot. Not so hot can’t hold on to them but for like 10sec.

I didn’t do the swap but I know he would have put in what it should be or what would have came with. My temp stays below normal (middle) tho. No matter what.

Ok, new radiator water pump heater core thermostat hoses why am I not getting heat? It’s very very light light warm when hand is on the vent. Few inch away and it’s gone. Engines swap from 4 to 6. The 4.0 had been sitting while. So cleaned out best can, and have flushed the core x2 since. First time was little clogged and heated right up great. But 2ed wasn’t at all but still won’t heat. I have checked the cable for the flap and it’s closing good. going to work when it’s 30o isn’t fun. Very cold natured!! Lol.

To close this out. Thanks for helping. The ford one got me home and I ordered one from Napa for now. My wife’s car decided wanted to visit my friends shop to get worked on so couldn’t do a full set. Will this summer tho.

We didn’t look at the number. I’ll try and get it but all I know is it was a v6 that it came off of.

Ok. Down dirty and quick question. I had 1 injector leaking on my 90, 4.0. I have access to free set from a 93 or 95 ranger. They do fit and plug in. We put one in so I could get it home. Seemed to run ok. Can I swap the others in to have matching set without screwing anything up?

Did you have to use spacers with the liberty wheels?

Which painless did you get? Is it the inside or outside that the wireing is running to?

I didn't know where to put this so just choose here. Was suprised to find a mj in the yard few miles from where I live, but even more surprised I found this in the glove box and in such great condition.

So best way for that piece would be to clean real good and paint it while on there? Or just a real good cleaning be better.

Yea, was hoping that the plastic surround would have had a easier solution.. lol. Speaking of "vents" what are the fake ( I'm guessing) vents on the lower dash on the ends? just for "decor" or something acc go there??

ok, I have look and looked and search internet for anything and can't find. I'm spraying interior and going to clean up and respray the vents. I don't know how to get these out. Has anyone done it?? It looks like there are 2 rivets and seems to be glued. How do they come out with out breaking anything? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

scotch pad and hot water with dawn dish soap in it. that's what they said to use to clean it. just scrubbed down good and then first light coat let set for for bout 5 min and then did 2ed good cover and then 3rd about 10 min later just to cover more and make sure.

(he's 79 and can't fit in well enough to shift) when he took me to pick it up he said happy birthday. (I'm 39 lol). Just been playing around with it and trying to chase down some electrical things. today I decided to get some duplacolor vinyl paint and try on a door panel. Never tried it on anything before and was skeptical, well, I was very pleased! I will now be changing over the rest of it with it.
