  1. ,,, Well, Here's one: How about putting a 'Delete' function with the 'Edit' function. I use the 'Edit' button a lot. youngfred
  2. ... Kinda cold H. How is your response related to this thread ??? ~ You got any suggestions on how to delete duplicates. All I found under 'Options' was - 'Hide'. youngfred
  3. ... Since I am new here, how about a sub, that would list all posts, read-only - sorted by year, from-the-beginning of this site. A search, by sub with : From: DD/MM/YYYY To: DD/MM/YYYY These might already exist. youngfred
  4. ... HARRUMPH !!! youngfred
  5. ... Are you talking about the front, like these ? I picked up a nice set for the front at - J & W - Antelope, CA. youngfred
  6. ... House Shoes to Combat Boots, sss-okay. ~ I 'know' how, my 2WD needs to hang but I not too sure how to get there. I plan to use OME 2930's in the front to bring it up some. Stock 10-hole with 30's, maybe??? youngfred
  7. ... It Woiks !!! youngfred
  8. ... Thanks H, Just what I need to do. youngfred
  9. ... Thanks, I plan to get it to a : Clean & Solid state and to keep it - Stock. (for now) Just an ol' country-boy, runnin' - in the big city. youngfred
  10. ... As I worked the new fuel tank into position onto the straps, I noticed the LSV appeared to be sitting kinda cockeyed and not too horizontal. I remembered lifting the frame in order to install the sensa-trac's. On the way back down, the LSV musta flipped. Lifted the frame again and corrected the LSV position. ~ Should the lever be in a more horizontal position ? The Sensa-Tracs lifted the frame some ??? youngfred
  11. ... I asked him the same thing. 'That Sending Unit Guy' (He goes by), told me: "Depends on the Condition of what you send me." ~ The printed-circuit board was reusable. It just needed the wiper arm replaced. The arm was all green and corroded. He changed out the float, too. It came out to under a hundred bucks, total. youngfred
  12. The sending unit frame cleaned up real good, even though it was coated in wet and dried-out film. Soaked and brushed on Sea Foam for about a week. Used a new Bosch Pump and sent out the float and printed board to : http://tristarrradiator.com/index.html youngfred
  13. ... Thanks, It's turning out to look like a hidden gem, that was waiting-on-me, under that tree for all of that time. youngfred
  14. ... I am glad that I did not, just-put-gas-in-it. The fuel tank had toxic things, floating about. Dark, shiny, smellly, hack-saw!!! I got rid of it and got a new one. Here it is, already in: *I'm bringing it back down, because the vacuum hoses require some - re-di-rection/attention. youngfred
  15. ... Thanks, I'm beginning to enjoy bring it back. Looks good, so far. Well-ll... youngfred
  16. ... Got the fender flares all cleaned-up and painted. I had just finished installing the transmission. The new rear shocks, just dangled until I dropped the truck then lifted from the rear bumper. Went with the Sensa-trac's with coilovers. The shocks that I removed were toast. So, I am trying to get used to the rake. Kinda extreme, for me. I will probably go with new front springs when I get up to the front. ~ The two front tires would not hold air so I put a couple of rollers. Probably haul a couple of dirt bikes at the most, so I get a chance look and help decide tires: Radial T/A - raised white letters or black All Terrain T/A - youngfred
  17. ... Well. After just four(4), passes. It cleaned-up, real good. youngfred
  18. ... Thanks DR, and thanks for all... A lot of good stuff, here. I will go with the Redline MT-90. ~ Gotta go, pick up ole John Henry, and smash lots more cans, till I can get enough. youngfred
  19. ... Are you referring to these (20) : Mine were solid and in good shape so I left those alone. youngfred
  20. ... Thanks. This Stuff: youngfred
  21. ... Rebuilt my AX15 and I am preparing to install. Came in and did a Search for Gear Oil type and learned a lot but - I am still not sure, just what, to pour. 6.7 pints of : Some say Motor Oil, some say Gear Oil. some don't like the smell, some mention brass syncros, some say - it-don't-matter. Is there now, a general agreement ??? ~ AX15 is going back into : Stock 91 Eliminator Two-Wheel Drive 4.0 Dana 35 Thanks youngfred
  22. ... Thanks, Aluminum rivets with fender washers sounds like a good option. youngfred
  23. ... I did not remove those because the front-flaps were still in good shape compared to the fender liner. I will be installing on the outside, front-corners where the fender flares meet the front deflector. My pop rivet gun nose pieces do not go up to that diameter. ~ As I recall, used these on the replaced front-fender liners. youngfred
  24. ... What is the best way to install these - Fender Liner Body Rivets ? (I have easily removed but never installed these) Rivet Gun or simply use pliers and wire cutters ? Thanks. youngfred
  25. ... The original mounting has each stud/nut sticking out around the wheel well, with the nut and the threads exposed to the elements. Even after cleaning and wire-brushing all of the exposed threads, some of the studs still snapped. The rivet-nuts are installed with the nut/threads facing in the opposite direction and they ride inside and behind the outer lip of the - Inner Protective Panel. Now, the only thing showing around the wheel well is the head of the (new) bolt that screws into the rivet-nuts. youngfred
