Hauling bark

Parts are piling up, getting closer to an install day. Found a 231 with SYE on it yesterday. Paid a little more than I wanted to but there were a lot of options. Still need a front axel shaft, and both drive lines. I'll need to replace some odds and ends along the way that I fear will add up to a decent chunk of money. Here is what I got.

I went and picked it up came with the shifter and bolts. Only numbers I can find on it. I count 23 splines on the output shaft.

Team cherokee sells them but they want your first born for them. But they are nice

I'm glad a took a minute to think about this project and the bumpers i have before I started cutting, not my normal method lol. My MJ bumper is pretty much straight from left to right. The XJ bumper has a curve. I made wooden jigs to see how the XJ bumper would fit. I don't think I like the curve at all. I do not want to spend money on a different one right now so the old one might go back on. So this thread is pretty much done on my end.

Thoughts from the pros would be great. Have a couple options. don't want to spend s ton of money and least amount of mods due to my skill level would be great. I'll be calling for rebuild quotes shortly.

Fenders were cut. And so were the supports. Just making sure those are ok to remove

Does anyone weld a solid peice of metal to fill the hole where the brace is and leave the fender? I have no idea what brand of bumper came on the jeep I got at auction.
