Not afraid of trimming just would rather go with the jacked up stock look on this one..Shouldnt a 3.5 BS help eliminate the rubbing..Not during flex but during turning..
I was originally gonna go w/ 35's but i can get 36's cheaper..I don't want to cut my fenders so how much lift am i gonna need..I am at or around 8" as of now.
Has anyone had any experience converting a 8.25 w/drums over to disc brakes? I am gonna do mine and just was looking for tips that may make it easier.
Its not any better looking yet. I have been working on the mechanical side of things thus far..Will soon be removing and installing some new body parts.
A plasma cutter and a wire feed welder she will be as good as new in no time. Try to cut all the way back to the good steel so that you can actually have something to weld too.
 better yet how bout a phone#..1-800-528-7750...i am gonna roll the dice and order all the crap i need..let ya know how it works out.
I know there have been many many threads on this topic. My MJ has a 8" lift..I don't want to cut fenders...If i go w/ a 15x10 wheel w/ say a 3"back spacing will 35's or 36's fit ok? Prefer 36's. driving
:hmm: dang Q you still havent got your truck? That is nuts. Does the shipping company at least now have it in their hands or is it still sittin in the guys yard.....I am glad i didnt get the red one now after seeing his post over on the forum...Told me only rust was on driver floor/ over there he said it was too far gone...Mine has basically has 0 rust
Well that sounds simple enough..I could just run the hot and ground to the driver door then run the wires from the driver door to the psgr door in some loom and tuck em under the dash somewhere..I am thinking for 100 bones i can't not buyem.
Ok enlighten me. I was under the assumption that it would just be a matter of hooking up a ground and a hot. Mine does have the factory wiring harness still in it but it is a base base base 87 model MJ.
Well mine may break tommorow but as of now it is the factory amc 20 from 1978 never been touched and has ran 33" since about 1 week after she left the dealership. She aint no cream puff either. ;)
front facia...including grill or will my 87 work? As noted by a viewer the one on my truck is upside down right now..toldem it won't be upside down when i flip the truck :rotf:
I need the plastic that surrounds the headlights and both markers under the headlights..Also the fiberglass header and chrome strip between the header and the grill. Will the cherokee stuff fit? And does anybody have this stuff? I know i ask a lot of questions but this is my first mj build. CJ5 i know... :smart: MJ's I'm learning.
