Ok..I reckon mine only has the coils and shocks...the long arm kit looks close but i already know they were custom made. I will try to post ya some pics of what mine looks like underneath. Keep in mind i don't do rocks...just trails..mud...hills...I go around the rocks.

sweeeeeeeeet. I know where an 86 is that i can prolly get the stuff for free..how bout the doors from 86 to 87...and can anybody confirm the fenders?..heck what about the bed i might just tow the mutha home. Only thing wrong w/ it is it center punched a tree.

I just like the Jeep wheel that was in my 88 :dunno: as far as fenders and gate i have to go w/ 87 and up MJ's right..Heard the 86's are different.

87MJ lwb....need a ds door...tailgate...piece over grill that jeep emblem is on..center console..would like a dash w/guages instead of the idiot lights..and a 88 up steering wheel...i hate the 87 steerin wheel...slidin rear window.....that ought to get me started...so what can i get that fits? :drool:

Am i the only person here that uses RoughCountry stuff... :dunno: That is all me and my buddies use and never have any trouble..Reasonable price too...If the MJ i just got didnt already have the 8"skyjacker i would be puttin the roughcountry on it...

I gotta work on getting a title for it. The guy i got it from never had the title transfered and has since lost it..and i can't locate the guy he bought it from.... :headpop:

Well i have been told rough country lifts suck too..its all ive ever used and never had a problem..Oh and also have been told can't run 33"hawgs on my amc 20 axle thats under my cj5...304 turns em pretty fast and never any problems..in fact the cj has had 33's on it since it was new(1978 my dad was first owner) and never broke...Just saying don't believe everything you read. :cheers:

I will get ya some pics if i can figure out how this camera phone i just got works. I didnt install the lift it was already on it. I have to figure out what they have done cause the front end has some major camber going on..the truck looks like ya kicked it in the gonads. could be combo of lift components need tweekin and bad ball joints.

yeppers it has 3" blocks..soon to be removed...the back sits up too high anyway so i am gonna take the blocks out and prolly just throw in a add-a-leaf..Oh and the lift is a skyjacker.

136k miles...8.25 rear D30 front 3.55 gears....got it for 500 bones.

(1) What kind of bs am i gonna need on wheels for say 35 or 36's..I have a 8"lift on but want to avoid cuttin the fenders..(2) what causes excessive oil in the air cleaner(pcv valve)?(3)what is involve in swappin instrument cluster (has idiot lights) to real guages...(4)i need lots of parts too so anyone that has say a tailgate,doors,interior items,slide rear window gimme a shout. :thumbsup:

How much for the gas tank? I just got the new MJ home and put 12gallons of gold in it to find out there is about a 1/4" hole knocked in the bottom of it. Guy had a self tapper screwed in it. :nuts:

On a hunch I checked the vin on my 88 MJ. I have the same '1'. Mine is a custom ordered Metric Tonne, any chance you know whether yours was a custom order also??? By the looks of it i would say no to the custom order..pretty much a base truck...manual windows...idiot lights/not guages..so on..

Ok...I finally got me a MJ to build. I will post a pic of it tommorow. The guy says its an 88 but i say its an 87. Are we talking about a trail rig or a grocery getter..If your gonna be in the sticky stuff go with either Ground Hawgs or TSL's. :beerhead: If your using it to carry your kids back and forth to school just get ya a set of BFG's :shake:

Correction...they are 36x12.50-16.5 Wrangler R/T II's....now i just gotta find some wheels.
