  3. On my 86 comanche i have no blinkers whatsoever. The gauge cluster blinker arrows don't come on and none of the blinker lights blink when I turn on the blinker. All the lights work when i turn the headlights on. i was thinkin maybe the multifunction switch or something was bad.

  12. for my dad's floors in his 88 mj we're using a old hood skin but i don't think that there will be enough for me to do mine out of the same metal. thanks for the help guys
  13. What gauge sheet metal should i use to patch my floors and cab corners
  14. Not a practice i have heard of with autobody. Care to elaborate? Sounds like you're using guidecoat. Spot sanding won't really give you a perfectly flat surface, long sanding blocks need to be used on an entire pannel to help ensure a uniform feel to the pannel. Icing wouldn't be a bad thing to have handy as well after you prime it. It dries quicker than bondo and is great for small dents.
  15. Rustys seems to make a pretty good 3 inch lift kit for the mj. here's a link http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchant.m ... sus_xj_kit I have never used one of their lifts on a comanche but i did help my buddy use one of their lifts on a 1986 full size. It was 4 inch leaf packs all around. Everything seemed to fit good and its held up so far. Only problem we had was figuring out how the hell the brake line drop brackets went in.
  16. When i do the swap i plan on buying a parts vehicle and I'm just tryin to get as much out of the vehicle as i can
  17. sry i should have added to the post that he said he would start repoping cab corners.
  18. i talked to zach and he said if enough people showed intrest they would start repoping them. anyone who wants/needs them email him off the site.
  19. found a cheap 3 inch lift off a xj and was wondering if the add a leaf would work on my 86 mj?
  20. Anyone ever tried to do a s10 axle swap? I have a 2001 s10 blazer and i hope to use it for parts. I was thinkin of usin the rear axle on my 86 xls but ive never heard of anyone tryin this swap. i plan on measuring the spring mouting plate later and seeing if it'll work.
  21. I use my instinct for the site all the time.
