thanks for the info. why don't 2 inch shackles lift a comanche 2 inches?

Just got a 1986 comanche xls with a 2.5l i4 and a 5 speed transmission. Dana 35s front and rear. Body is pretty bad but i think i can make it work. Plan on fixin the body and then lifting it with a 3 inch rustys add a leaf and 2 inch shackles and coil spring spacers. Then finding some 31x10.50x15 hopefully claw. Possible 4.7 canidate in my mind if i can come up with the money to build one.

It does not look that hard. I think I'm gonna wait til it gets a little warmer to get started though.

do you know if anyone makes patch pannels for them?

i have not personally used them but a buddy with a 96 xj said they are practically unbreakable.

i have bad cab sides on both sides of my 86 the drivers side is just about rusted thro and the passenger side is dented all the way up. idk if anyone has experiance with this kind of thing but i thought id ask. any and all sugjestions are welcome. thanks

I just bought a 1986 jeep comanche XLS with a 2.5 and a 5 speed transmission. The box is shot on it and both cab sides up to the body lines are bad. The front drivers side axle shaft is bad so i need a replacement for that too. I need a full box and if someone wants has cab sides ill buy those as well. I would also be interested in a parts truck for the right price. I live in Holland Michigan which is about 20 miles south of Grand Rapids. Any suggestions would also be appriciated.
