    Mig Wire Sale

That's a great price! I just paid $32 for my last 10 lb. Spool .035
  2. PM sent and for everyone else it's the same. The kit does work just fine on the mj. The only things are the extra supports for the lower control arms and notching the cab supports. Everything else is the same as an xj. Well worth the money.
  3. Is there any costs involved with being a spectator, like entrance fees.

    Offroad trip

Just throwin a feeler out for the weekend after memorial day. The location is about 50 miles northwest of Reno, it's called gold lake and it's above greagle California. The trail to the campsites is only about 2 miles but off the pavement those two miles can take about 45 minutes to an hour or more if there is still snow which I'm guessing there will be. So if any of you Nevada or nor cal guys are interested let me know because I'm going with or without you!!
  6. The headliner is held on the sides by two metal clips that are under the plastic trim, then there is two pieces of industrial grade Velcro on the front and rear of the headliner. The glue that holds them on the backer probably won't survive the removal, mine didn't but when I put the new fabric on I just reglued them on also then put a couple staples thru them.
  7. Winch is mounted!!
  8. I like it. Good price too. What's the specs
  9. Well after alot of searching I think I have found the write-up that is the most economical and easiest to understand. http://www.junkyardgenius.com/charging/dual01.html I hope this link might help someone else looking for the same answers. Also thanks for the pics that one of the engine bay will be a good reference.
  10. Yes I'm in the process of mounting my winch. I've had the dual system on my old bronco and it definately saved my butt before. There just seems to not be enough room under the hood. The only spot that I can see is where the air box is meaning an air intake upgrade would be necessary.
  11. Has anyone installed a dual battery setup in an mj and if so where did you put the second battery? Pics would be good to. Also any tips on the hookup that uses some junkyard parts would be good to. Thanks Chris
  12. I got my winch today  Mile marker sec9500 lb. hopefully get it mounted this weekend
  13. Best place in town I found for the u bolts is at summit for $5 each and they have them in stock.
  14. You have the dreaded death wobble!! Do a search on it and you will get lots of Info because it can be many different things. Good luck!
  15. I hope they do address this situation. Because I too like alot of their products and planned on buying some of them......but until they do something positive about this situation I will keep my benjamins in my pocket. I also agree that people make mistakes but I hope JCR doesn't delay on the current one before permanent opinions are made.
  16. Yes they did discontinue the Comanche rear bumper :dunce: Instead of taking the info from there customers they are going to throw a fit and say we'll show them and just stop making it. SORRY JCR you just made rocky road status in my opinion!
  17. I've been following this thread because I like JCR's products that being said. My daddy always said " a job worth doing is a job worth doing right". My local steel supplier carries this material in 20' lengthes I know because I have purchased it for my own projects. The excuse of not being able to get it is weak in my opinion. So if you are going to sell a product that you obviously intend to be towed with in any fashion build it right the first time. Your reputation depends on it because word of mouth advertising is key and if you think I'm wrong just ask about Rusty's products and see what kind of response you get on Comanche club!!!
  18. Update: zone offroad sells this relocation brackets and actually had decent instructions with good pictures. So for less than $40 bucks and an hour of fab work without having to pull an axle I'll give it a shot. :D
  19. Yes with the wheels turned all the way to the right, the end of the draglink where it intercepts the tie rod isn't able to pass the axle mount of the sway bar disconnect. This spot at normal ride height is close but will clear, but with any axle droop makes major contact. The weld on replacement pieces for the discos raise it's location by 2", and the upgrade steering relocates that joint for the draglink/tierod closer to the passenger wheel and to the front side of the tierod. I really don't feel like pulling the axle again to weld on these brackets but for the price difference I may not have a choice. Has any one purchased this upgrade steering kit from motion offroad or someone's similar product? Would you recomend one because this is the route I would like to take even though it costs more. An upgrade to the steering couldn't possibly hurt since the tires are so much larger than stock!
  20. I went for a test drive today offroad and had some horrible noise! Back home on Jack stands to investigate found at full droop the drag link makes major contact with the sway bar discos. I had done alot of research before lifting the mj but this issue somehow got by me. So with some research I've found a couple solutions: 1st: weld relocation bracketsfor sway bar discos on axle cost under $40 2nd: upgrade steering from motion offroad cost $250 3rd: ask the rest of you folks what to do? I'm sure someone has the knowledge on here or personal experience of this situation. Thanks Chris :hmm:
  21. Finally finished up the alignment, installed the reciever hitch, installed new inside dome lights, changed the door seals for some newer ones, installed the relay for the kc's, welded up the exhaust hangers that were broke, and put some new speakers in the doors. All in all a good day of wrenchin!
