  1. I've changed the filter twice in that 900 miles .it wasn't completly stopped up but got a lot of rusty colored fuel out of it . I don't know what kind of pump it is.the shop where I bought it told me that was the second one he had put on it. you would think he would have pulled the tank and cleaned it out ,but I 'm sure he didn't do that .He was just trying to get it to run, so I could here it run before I bought it. He was selling it for someone else.
  2. What causes brand new fuel pumps to Quit working? is it the trash and rust that's in the tank? I had one put on 900 miles ago and it has quit already . Relay is working but pump isn't. Thanks for your help.drove it home tuned off ignition and it han't started since.Ran fine coming home. :???:

  5. What kind of radio are you talking about am/fm or C.B.?
  6. Hi.Jackrabbit41 I am a trucker and have been for32 yrs.I have owned about every kind they have ever come out with. In times past Cobra and Uniden were great radios when they were made in the Phillipines. Todays radios aren't as reliable because most of them are made in china today. However there are some that are pretty decent ,they cost a little more but seem to be made better. Galaxy , Connex .Northstar Stryker, all of these or good radios If you can get one that says amateur transceiver.these have more power and sound a lot better than your typical c.b.you will usually have to have the radio shop convert the channels over to the frequencies of the citizens band channels. If they sell them they usually know how to do that.. I know there is not a lot of room, I mounted mine on the trans hump by the gear shift but I can still see it good and it's one of the old 23 channels but with upper and lower side bands. If you are just looking for a regular radio I would probably go with the Galaxy DX models and they come in small sizes up to large sizes . it is impo . :MJ 1: . rtant to have a good antenna and good coax. everything must be grounded good and have between 1.0 to 1.5 swr reading from the antenna . if you get it like this you will be able to talk and receive at the radios full potential Good luck.
  7. I talked with a NASCAR oil analyst and he said of all the oils they had tested shell rotella T 15w-40 held up better than any of them including racing oil. That's what i've always used in my 18 wheelers, since then I started using in my autos as well and have had no problems whatsoever.
