Well I finally got tired of putting Band-Aids on my mj. From what I've seen it's been hit at least 3 times (ea quarter panel, R rear). So I started taking it apart, I'm thinking I might need a donor Cherokee if I have any uni- body dmg, but haven't got that far yet. I'm trying to hold myself to doing one thing a day to it, I'll keep updating

Rear main, if you don't do it (if you have my luck) it will start leaking after you drop the motor in

Does anyone know where I can find a new inner boot for the shifter? Some mice got into my truck (made a nest next to core flap) on the way they chewed up the boot that bolts to the body, thought about using a piece of inner tube but not Shure that will work. Any ideas?

While I was trying to figure out why my headlights won't work this fell out of the turn signal part of the column, I'm pretty Shure it has to do with the high beams as now I don't hear the click (and no resistance) when I move the turn signal arm like I was trying to put the lights on high. Thanks for the help
