  1. So I got my set of swb sliders yesterday. The quality of the sliders is awesome. Upon test fitment, all of the frame mounts sit flush to the frame and the pinch seam clamps have a good amount of adjusting room. I need the help of a friend next weekend for the realn install but that gives me time to paint the sliders. All frame mounting bolts, clamp bolts and a drill bit were included. The frame bolts are 7/16 self tapping bolts. I may switch them out and bolt all the way through the frame as I am hard on equiptment and live in maine where most of the state is covered in rocks. My only concern about the sliders is that the allen head set screw for the rear of the pinch seam clamps are designed in a way that you cannot adjust them in place. If thats the worst thing about them, I should be all set and a happy customer. Some people may not be happy about this pinch seam clamp design. Also the same as krustyballers sliders, they sit parallel with the tires and not the tapered rocker panel. Again they are fine for me but maybe not for others. 2. I just recieved my sliders in the mail today. I'll be taking pictures tomorrow but might need help from another member to post the pics for me (I'm not very good with computers).
  3. Ive got the passenger side cover and the knock sensor. $30 shipped.
  4. What color bench seat are you looking for?
  5. Ive got one. $20 plus shipping.
  6. Not sure what year truck youve got but I have one available from an 87 with a 4.0. Shipped to you for $60.
  7. Yeah they would. But in maine and all the cars in the yards are covered in a ton of snow right now. If I can't find one by next weekend maybe ill be heading there and bringing my shovel.
  8. So the p.o. of my truck removed the foam backed/rubber heat and sound deadener from most of the interior firewall, everything he could yank out without removing the dash and heater box. When I stripped the interior of the truck I removed the rest of it. Now I am wondering where I can find a replacement or if anyone on here has one they would be willing to sell me? I will be applying lizard skin on everything in the interior before starting reassembly but I wouldnt like some more heat shield on the inside of the firewall, plus it will stop the heater box from rattling around.

  11. Yeah I've got copper nickle brake line around and fittings. Just hard to find the time to bend a whole set of new lines.
  12. So I've got my plate pretty full with things to do on the comanche, rebuilding a 22re for a toyota and getting ready to build a garage. can't find the time to do certain things and was wondering if anyone has ever ordered break lines through this company. They are stainless and claim to be a complete set http://www.classictube.com/with-dana-44-axle-2449.html Any info would be great.

  15. Thanks a bunch for the link. Gonna buy oil filters for life.
  16. I mean I saw a guy up here in maine with a snowmobile loaded backwards into the back of his subaru wagon. Not to say I wouldnt do either in a pinch but I wouldnt do it if I had other options.
  17. Yeah. Buy a trailer. 2 quads without a toolbox is enough. Let alone you lose 18 inches of bed space, your down to maybe 6.5 feet with your tailgate down.
  18. I believe that diesel mj's all had 4:10's. Soneone correct me if I'm wrong. $5600 is way more money then I'm will in to put up for a non running truck that is hard to get parts for. My bid will not pass 3000 and am really unsure if it will pass 2000 without getting some more pictures.
  19. If the price doesnt go through the roof in the next 6 days I will be putting in a bid or 10.
  20. Thanks. Just looking to spend a little less on one right now while I'm building my dana 300 that will eventually go in the truck.
  21. Thank you eagle for the explanation of that. I don't want to give someone bad info. I had just figured it out mathmatically.
  22. Does anyone have a sye they are interested in selling me?

  24. Sometimes those simple things slip my mind. Well in that case a metric ton factory leaf spring will have a 3/4 inch lower ride height then a non metric ton.
  25. A factory metric ton spring will provide the same ride height as a factory 3+1 spring. The metric ton pack is thicker by 3/4 inch but the springs have 3/4 inch less arch so it provides the same height.
