  1. bad caliper(s) maybe?
  2. here is the deal... for the past 8-10 months i have had sub-par brakes. the pedal will travel about 3/4 of the throw until there is enough pressure to slow the truck down. new parts: MC (3rd different one in the past time period). bench bled. rear drums have been COMPLETELY rebuilt. new everything. no air in the lines, guarantee. when i hit the brakes, the small chamber in the MC shoots a stream about 1 foot high under full brake pressure (my 92 MJ does not do that). the cap seal can't contain that pressure so it is always leaking fluid. here is the kicker, ever since i put on Rubi Express brake lines front and rear, the brakes have been crappy. i almost think they are expanding (causing the long brake pedal throw). but i don't see what could be causing the huge pressure in the MC. so my questions are, is anyone else running the RE SS lines with good/bad feedback? i was thinking about putting the stock lines back on temporarily to see if that changes anything.
  3. i wish. thats easily the coolest place i have ever been. someday i will take the MJ, all the times i have went was with the ATV.
  4. swap onto a YJ, but its the same thing. http://www.jcroffroad.com/WJ.html
  5. your brake lines look pretty tight.
  6. i see no 'Kilt involved in the plans... :dunno:
  7. it should be named the GLC chat room.
  8. :fs2:
  9. hardly. get this. http://www.c-rok.com/sb.html
  10. it could be a different one. but i drive past a black 86 in wind lake and the body is gone.
  11. its not this one is it? cause if its the one I'm thinking of, the body is shot. http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/cto/1636957895.html
  12. you can get the ELIMINATOR decals here (towards bottom of page)http://jeepsticker.com/mj.htm. i have seen the stripes for sale on ebay once in a while but i don't know the fit of those. also I'm assuming this is for your 90 eliminator. the decal package changes in 91.
  13. usually the only time when a winch is used is when you are stuck. tire psi has nothing to do with it.
  14. i would never get one under the 8k range. my Warn M8000 sometimes has its struggles depending on the pull.
  15. the part that actually bent was the end thats cut to fit around the bed. it should be easy to bend back. i took the tailgate off cause the whole bumper rotated up just enough that the tailgate rubbed it when i opened it.
  16. very nice! look for a meet in the great lakes chapter and come on out.
  17. word. also, don't let the numbers dictate what strong is. AMC 20 (from a MJ) is better than a D35...
  18. here are some pics. i talked for a few minutes with comanchedude. new RC longarms seemed to be working pretty good for him. (bent my bumper so i was running without the tailgate for a while)
  19. almost 3k here. but i have been here for almost 4 years.
  20. cleaned it, rolled it off the trailer into the garage.
  21. why?
  22. I'm just cutting the lower portion of the rear quarter. what I'm cutting out is smashed/dented/junk
