  1. Looking real Nice ! I did a 2000 F250 Super Duty in the Monsta Liner Bright White on the cab and built a flatbed for the back half! I have a Dodge that I put an old military trailer for a pickup bed and I will be using the Monster Liner Midnight Blue on that one! For My MJ project I have ordered the Desert Tan for that project! I do like the way the Monster Liner applies and looks ! Any plans for the Defender ???
  2. Great article and thanks for the helpful information!
  3. Subscribed to this one and these are some very useful links ! Thanks I'm swapping in a rebuilt 4.0L from a 92 Cherokee into my 88 MJ that had a 2.5L so i found these to be very helpful! I'm using the complete wiring harness from the Cherokee along with replacing the ax5 to an AX15 from a dodge dakota ! thanks again
  4. Greeting from Southern Idaho! Nice looking MJ by the way! I plan on using full size axles as well on my build, but what coils did you use up front on your build?
  5. Greetings from Idaho and Montana! (when I'm not here I'm there!) Nice build with great attention to detail by the way! I hope mine turns out half that nice! LOL
  6. Nice build and interesting fact about the shocks ! Keep us posted on any updates or travels ! Cheers
  7. Oh I forgot to mention that I have a wrecked 1989 Jeep Cherokee that I am sourcing parts from for this build !
  8. Well being new to this forum and recently purchasing a 1988 MJ with 160K miles on the clock with a bad motor I thought I would share my MJ build! i have read several builds in this forum and looked at several good and informative tech articles as well as seeing several nice looking MJ's and would like to add mine to the list! I had a CLEAN 1987 MJ Sport with the 4.0L and a Peugeot 5 spd tranny that Scattered with only about 90K miles 20 years ago that I wish I still had and my goal is to make this one even better! I plan on changing over the 2.5L 4 banger to a Stroked six cylinder and upgrading the tranny to a ax15 or NV3550! So here I go !
  9. Good find and more people are thinking like you everyday ! Why waste money on a rig that is hard to work on and need constant repairs ! Good luck with this build/restore project
  10. Nice and Clean engine bay and engine! Keep up the good work ! Transfer cases are one of those things when I buy one I always split the cases and check the condition internally! They are cheap and easy to rebuild with just a few simple tools! Keep them full of ATF and they will last a long time!
  11. This looks like a great one to watch and glean some ideas, so keep us posted on your updates!
