not necesarily. It depends how fast you're going, had an 06 dakota, hit a deer with a brush guard and all that happened was it bent the headlight part of the guard and cracked the headlight. Depends the conditions. So how fast were you going? I was going about 45-50mph. I also hit a deer in a '95 Escort, it jumped out in front of me out of nowhere and all it did was dent my fender and hood and crack my headlight. Like I said, depends the conditions.

I plan both. Looks cause I think it gives the Comanche so much better of a look, and I live in Upstate NY, where there's tons of deer. Using a guard will help protect the jeep if I ever hit a deer

Yeah something like that! I found a ranger/bronco brush guard on my local craigslist for $30, would it be worth it to do some custom fabrication on that to make it fit?

What would be the best brush guard, grill guard, bumper setup that is cheap? I can't find anything anywhere that is cheap, most of it all is overpriced. Any input or help?
