  1. I get it every once and a while in my TJ if I go around a bend at 55-65mph. other then that its fine. and that's with all brand new steering and arms
  2. the "wandering needle" is typical of many older vehicles as the gauge is normally a direct reading of float level. as the fuel moves around the float adapts with that, giving the odd readings while driving, same with the oil pressure, the computer systems of newer vehicles intercepts these signals to give a more consistent or preferred reading because of people complaining of it over the years
  3. that's a really good informative picture!
  4. will do pete! sorry, been busy the last week haven't made much progress, but have a sheet of 1/8 plexi to play around with. so I should have something thrown together soon
  5. There was an white extended cab someone found in the junkyard one time. That's the only other one in know of
  6. I swear by Bosch icon blades. Same design as the ones you swapped too. Great in all weather
  7. That trailers awesome! And sweet exhaust set up! I may have to copy that!
  8. I'd like to see the interior on that quad cab!
  9. I believe this one has 2-door doors: I thought this was deemed a photo shop?
  10. 33" tires MAX and no offroading, just a work/plow truck. I guess my rear question would be... what's a heavier duty axle for weight and durability. And Pete I agree 4.10 would be nice... not to complain as I did ask the question. but that would also mean regearing the front or swapping housings and transferring shafts (and knuckles?)as I would like to keep my CV shafts. Not a huge deal. But still an added cost..
  11. just seeing other peoples opinion on which one they have found to be "better" in their trucks, and any reasoning.
  12. rasing the dead! very cool truck! I also am surprised they didn't start with a long bed... I'm equally surprised they didn't use a bench seat in the back, and rather used two buckets. I think that's an awesome truck, and to see how clearly rare it is, is pretty cool! bravo on your dedication.
  13. so I have both in my possession. d44 is open 3.55 and the 8.8 is 4.10 and limited slip. 8.8 needs brackets would also mean swapping the front axle as it is 3.55. the d44 is already set up for a MJ and matches the front axle. I have an 8.8 in my TJ and love it but what are opinions on the MJ?
  14. is there information on how you did that exhaust
  15. Got one lens cut out! Still need to do some filing and sanding. But I think they cut out pretty decent. And a test place over the housing
  16. that actually was one of my ideas. as it has the small diffusers or whatever you want to call them to scatter the light. BTW those old rampages are sick, I think ive only actually seen maybe one in person.
  17. sorry for the confusion, the scuff and acetone post was for getting the lens tint crap off. the red dye is infused with the plastic and not removable. (atleast I wouldn't have the slightest clue on removal)
  18. correct you do, there are multiple clear reflectors inside the light that you could tint red to stay 100% legal
  19. that picture is just a color photo shop, but that is what I hope to come close too, inside the light there is about 1/8 clearance between the lens and housing dividers so it shouldn't be too hard to incorporate a solid clear lens to the inside of the light and have everything mold together properly too.
  20. I have multiple sets of good tail lights stocked up so full restoration wasnt/isn't a necessity. I have used acetone and a green scuff pad on other lights I've had that worked pretty well. I black and white filtered a picture of my truck and it just looked way too awesome with clear lenses so I really want to try it
  21. The inside isn't smooth, its grooved with the outside and not level.
