  1. The seven piece was used until 92, then the three piece was used then on. It takes a little grinding and modifications, but i made it work on my MJ, I like the look of the chrome
  2. I've learned that footwell lights are on Comanches. I replaced my lower IP and the one that went in had the light on it, I also found out, no matter the option that was chosen, the harness will still be there. They don't make them specific. Unless you have a column shift, they don't have the harness for the lights to the floor shift.
  3. Part time crew trainer at McDonald's, part time college student, full time teenager
  4. 18 but I've had my MJ for 3 years
  5. Are there supposed to be lights in both of the footwells?
  6. And yes, turn signals are working
  7. Just replaced the ignition switch, I can now turn my truck over and get it to run again after being out of commission for a day but, still not blowing on high, will do some more research.
  8. No. If the blower works on any setting, the blower motor is not the problem. The resistor pack is also not likely to be the problem, because when that fails the ONLY speed that works is high speed. I'd say you have some detective work ahead of you. You're right on the detective work, coming home from college today, the radio wasn't working, and the heat/ vents weren't blowing, then all of a sudden they were. Sounds exciting right?
  9. Is there anyway to test the resistor?
  10. 1989 Pioneer Engine-4.0 Transmission-AW4 Transfer Case-N.P.242 Font Axle-D30 Rear Axle-D35 Wheelbase-SWB Build date: May, 1989 Petersburg, Michigan It is on the road, But it always will be worked on! It has aftermarket lights on front bumper. Red and rusty on the outside. Gray on the inside, with fake wood trim on doors. Ripped leather bench seat, floor shift. Holes for days on the floor. I'm the proud owner.
  11. The website said my jeep is 4wd, floor shift, and all that jazz. That's true, but I had to make it 4wd and floor shift. When I got it, it was two wheel drive on the column
  12. I will look into that, thanks!
  13. A couple weeks ago, the "high" setting on my truck went out. Now all that works is the "medium" and "low". Am I correct when I say I have to replace the blower motor?
  14. There is an MJ rolling around here I live with a plow, it sits stock. I'd think you'd be able to do it with yours stock too.
  15. Looks really sharp!
  16. The road up to Pikes Peak isn't horrible, worst part is, is the fear of rolling of!
  17. Could it be the motor under a certain type of load?
  18. Almost everything from front doors forward on an XJ will fit the MJ.
  19. Well, yeah. But I like to see things on my Jeep work like it would from the factory.
  20. I'll look into it more, thanks for the advice!
  21. My MJ is an '89 but the transfer case, I'm not sure of, my brother in laws dad worked for Jeep for over 35 years and has collected parts, jeeps etc. So I just grabbed a trans and t case and put it in. I think it's an 89 though, the front axle i know is an 89.
  22. I guess I'm looking for a way to get the lights on the inside working when it is in 4wd. I know the bulbs are good, trying to figure out what it could be then...
  23. I have the wood trim on my dash and on my doors as well, I highly doubt the door trim is factory for and MJ, but it looks great!
