  1. I kind of figured that. So I’ve only run it like that for a few minutes. Just verify it will run and idle, kind of that is.
  2. Think I’ve found the issue. Non-existing splice on D1_5
  3. Was able to move the truck under its own power a little bit today. Had to be patient and get the revs up pretty good to get her to move. Thinking I may be looking at some trans work. Though it could be that it hasn’t been moved or driven in a couple of months and needs some exercise to get things moving. I’ll be doing a filter and fluid change very soon though.
  4. Thanks. Working on that, between tornado warnings/watches. I am ready for spring/summer.
  5. One more video of it running... IMG_3675.MOV
  6. It lives again... runs rough (jumpered fuel pump relay). IMG_3674.MOV
  7. IMG_3675.MOV So I was able to get Little Blue (87 4.0 renix 4x4 auto) to run. Bypassed fuel pump relay after replacing all the fuel line connections, fuel pressure regulator and basically a completely new fuel system from tank to injectors. Now I need to figure out why the relay isn’t working correctly. I have tried several new supposedly hood relays and the only thing that works is using a jumper on the relay. Any suggestions or thoughts as where to look?
  8. All kidding aside I wouldn’t be opposed to finding a 2 dr XJ and redoing it as a SJ tribute.
  9. Also uncovered the front dif tag today. Looks as though I ended up with 3:54 gear ratio, so that should mean I have 3:55 on the rear. The rear tag is missing in action.
  10. Hadn’t thought about it but it does have some resemblance to a SJ. That was a dream rig when I was in my late teens, ended up with a CJ5 that was close to the color of Little Blue.
  11. Nothing that I am aware of, but you never know. VIN is registered and I believe it showed 4x4 auto from factory. I guess it could be a swap trans/transfer case. There has definitely been some work done as the trans lines are all re-routed or either not mounted as they should be from factory.
  12. Better interior pics now that it all together. One day I’ll get to drive it around and enjoy it. Still having issues starting and running. New fuel pressure regulator and new fuel line connector fittings (GOOD NEWS NO FUEL LEAKS). Also installed the new rocker switches. Awesome work by @ghetdjc320!
  13. Some more digging and looking this wire is plugged into a connector on the transfer case/trans. It seems like it’s a jumper to go from the trans/transfer case to some where in the wiring harness. It’s just over a foot long and has male plugs on both ends. That’s the connection I can’t find, thank for all your help and insight so far!
  14. Not reverse light switch. Backup lights work as they should.
  15. That makes sense, but I can’t find the female end it should connect to. Re-read your post and I’ll have to see if I can find the connector on the transmission
  16. Still learning and discovered this connector coming off the transfer case (1987 Comanche Pioneer 4x4 Auto). Does anyone know why they are for/go to? One wire is black/red the other is lime/yellow and grey. I can’t find a open female end anywhere with in reach of them.

So this truck hasn’t moved very far from home after 34 years. Enterprise is only about 1 hour from where it currently resides.
  18. My take on a smart phone holder/mount. Bought a cheap clamp style phone holder from Wally World. I think it was $7, forgot to take a photo of the box. Box was light green though. Since I didn’t have the clock in my truck I took the block off plate and mounted the holder to it. The phone holder was designed to mount with a suction cup and has a bendable soft aluminum arm. So I drilled an approximate size hole in the block off plate and threaded the rod/arm. Put a nut and washer on both sides and tightened it down. This now gives me the ability to see the phone and use it for nav or anything else. It’s also close enough to the radio that a short usb/charging cord can be used to connect to the phone so I don’t have wires running everywhere.
  19. I went with some from this company: https://www.seatbeltsolutions.com/ Very good quality and good selection of colors.
  20. After putting a set of RedRock drop step bars on our JKU I’ve decided to try and use the same style for a 2dr JK on the Pioneer.
  21. New coils are a definite. I will also be doing new tie rod ends and all new bushings for the front end and possibly for the leaf springs.
  22. So I am trying to decide what the best option is for upgrading the suspension on my 1987 SWB 4.0 Auto. From what I can tell it has an old Trailmaster 4/4.5 inch kit on it with coils, add-a-leafs, drop brackets for the lower control arms and from sway bar. A few measurements revealed it sits about an inch lower on the drivers side. I am going to be running 32x11.50x15s and don’t want to cut up fenders. My initial thoughts were to just add 1.5 or 1.75 inch spacers to the coils and new shocks along with all new bushings and rod ends for the front and leave the rear alone except for shocks. After discovering the lean to the drivers side I now want to level everything out. won't be doing any heavy duty wheeling, mostly a daily driver with an occasional mud or sand trail. I plan on keeping the spring under on the rear. What are ya’lls thoughts? Also what is everyone using for nerf bars that have a drop step incorporated? TIA pic of front undercarriage.
  23. Maybe... still need do some fabrication. The length is almost perfect. Probably need to come down about a 1/2 inch though.
