  1. Thank you sir. May have to go this route if no one has one they want to give up for cheap
  2. Looking for an ad delete pulley and bracket for my 91 4.0. Ac condenser scrapped out and just looking to completely remove it. Let me know what ya got
  3. Seeing your truck makes me want to find a nice clean swb to daily drive. That thing is beautiful
  4. Thanks for the info guys. I'll probably just order them online, rather then deal with the dealership. I don't need them right away anyway
  5. Yea, I know that's been done. However I've donie this before, and I'm nowhere near careful enough to remove them in one piece
  6. Those mopar ones might be the ones I'm referencing. The thread is from back in 2010, Eagle and CW were talking about some super nice perches they could pick up from the dealer.
  7. So I've seen in older topics about people buying new spring perches from the dealer. I called my local dealer today, and the guy had no idea what I was talking about and said they didn't stock those. Anyone know if these are still available, if so where to get them? Thanks Chris
  8. It's already pretty torn apart. I'm using a majority of parts from it
  9. For reference I just bought my 91 with a blown rear and normal rust for $500
  10. It's just north of 180k. I was told the first 90k were being towed behind an RV. It really is a shame, it's really clean for its age.
  11. I haven't decided yet if I want to keep it. If I do sell it you're first in line.
  12. Yea, they were definitely a nice surprise when I went to look at it. They'll be up for sale as well
  13. Most definitely , they'll go to good use.
  14. So here's my parts rig, a super clean 92 2 door XJ. It was hit head on and fubar'd the unibody. I'll be using almost all the drivetrain parts off of it as well as a couple odds and ends. Once I get everything inventoried I'll be putting all the unused parts up for sale. Also, did a tune up yesterday. The spark plugs were OLD, very old. Starts a lot easier now. Here's some pics of the XJ. I'm pretty excited about it.
  15. Just bought a 92 2 door XJ for parts. Will update with pics in a little
  16. Ended up buying a parts XJ so no longer looking for these
  17. My original plan was to just find a local MJ rear just to get it on the road, as I plan on gradually building it. I've got a line on an 8.8 that I may pick up and just go that route.
  18. Hmm. 4 hours one way. I'll keep looking but may be a possibilty
  19. Where in Ohio are you located?

    Welders

I need to get an electrician in to see if I can upgrade my panel. If I can run 220 then that is what I will end up buying. I was wondering about the 110 units in case I couldn't upgrade. I found a pretty decent looking Lincoln mig. I can probably swing $600 roughly to buy one. Like I said I look at it as an investment, so I'm willing to spend a little more for a nice unit

    Welders

So now that I'm getting back into jeeps, I figured a welder would more than pay for itself. Now, I know very little about them. There are the 120 and 220 volt models, are the lower power units worth it? I'd like to pick up a decent mig welder. It will mainly be used for small things like floors, or bumpers. Let me know what you have, and any knowledge is always appreciated.
  22. As stated, it works just fine. I had a newer windshield installed on my old 92. It's a big improvement over the plastic clips that hold the old windshield in
  23. Little update. Got the interior pulled today to check the floors. They're about what I expected. Drivers side is going to need to patches, and the passenger looks like it will be good as is. Also threw a fresh battery in and replaced the battery terminals. It's got a little bit of an extended crank, but runs pretty decent for sitting as long as it has. Motor seems to be in good shape for having 280xxx miles, pretty minimal blow-by. I plan to do a full tune up in the next few days. I plan to move this along pretty quickly to get it back to being road worthy. Still need to hunt down a fairly local rear axle to put in for the time being. Any way, here's a few pics of the ol' girl.
  24. Where are you located?
