  1. Congratulations 🎊 on bringing it to life ! can’t wait for a ride :)
  2. Thanks Pete, Guess that's why I called it Jewelry for MJ it's almost as beautiful as 62-72 Jeep SJ glove box jeweled clock. Correct fog / cargo switch panel has never been out of bag.
  3. Nothing beats factory look :) Or even what they should of done :)
  4. Uber rare item ! totally worth the price, XJ hawse fairlead worth major coin.
  5. Yes you are correct, the 91-92 did not come pre-wired for the Cargo Light. I try to outfit all my Jeeps with Jeep SE or period correct accessories. And every Jeep I own has a winch.... it's Jeepers hood ornament :)
  6. So no one gets prize for guessing. Worth it’s weight in gold :)
  7. Edited Saturday at 12:00 PM by fiatslug87The bed rails you've been looking for? Got square type bed rails from Eagle Scout on October 14-19 Have not found the O.E.M. round type rails. Haven't been able to determine if round came as factory installed option. Found emblems, but guy doesn't want to re-do his shadow box of Every Jeep emblem ever made, including the Wagoneer II emblem. (He doesn't have Lone Star special plaque :) ) So going to have mine rechromed. Not sure they would be considered an accessory My post of Feb 11-20 shows the early style winch / brushguard combo. I have since found the later style brushguard / winch mount which I like better. Jan 24-20 found NOS hidden winch kit & Feb 3 found NOS special XJ Ramsey winch and fairlead Haven't really looked for rear window louvers, so that's not it.
  8. No guesses ? Hint: It was a factory & dealer installed accessory.
  9. Well the most beautiful NOS MJ specific Jewelry I have ever seen and really last hard to find part for this project has been obtained:
  10. Pics of it installed :) He's got Chevy engine so that doesn't help with stock engine. I've seen them fit stock engine, but less than 1/4" from harmonic balancer
  11. Always soooo cleannnnn :) What kind of hose did you use for vent hose? I'm working on different vehicle and the fuel hose from parts store is to big OD to fit the frame clips without kinking the hose shut.
  12. Won't be long before bring it to life. :) How's the Boostwerks hidden winch fit ?
  13. I'm still a newbie MJ owner, and I asked several experts ...but this is only one that has ever been heard about. Feel pretty honored to have for this project, although it's pretty useless in function. Here it is with good cleaning, plastic prep & couple coats of SEM: Team GW Team Cherokee etc... Years ago learned about the business practices, they do seem to come across good stuff but it's buyer beware. Forget about getting customer service if needed, they won't even take picture of item if you want to buy it.
  14. I've been slaving away on Jeep tow pig aka Big Red https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1421912-96-f350-cc-psd-like-new-refresh-and-build.html
  15. Glad it went to a good home. Should of bought Rob's diesel MJ as well :)
  16. Top notch work as always. How is the amp behind kick panel going to breathe ? Maybe the latest generation of amps don't need as much fresh air as old style... I dunno.
  17. What kind of fuel mileage does Libby get pulling small trailer ?
  18. Big Red Ford aka: Jeep tow rig...needed ball joints ... and I fell head first into rabbit hole. POR15 axles, frame, skid plates 8 U joints & carrier bearing, wheel & spindle bearings & inner axle seals. tie rods and pan hard bar power stop rotors & calipers 38 gallon rear tank & bungs welded in both tanks for proper venting for truck stop big nozzle fill-ups. NOS Warn Transformer & 8274 NOS fender moldings NOS rear chrome bumper and double receiver hitch Front shackle reversal 5” lift with receiver hitch and D ring mounts. Super duty longer springs 5” stainless exhaust with bung for EGT dual shocks and dual steering stabilizer Practicing social distancing corona19 and having fun :) MJ has turned into shop truck parts hauler.
  19. Jeep Heritage has a 92 Hunter Green Eliminator 4x4 with A/C and 5 spd. its in line to be restored to immaculate
  20. Sport bar installed, love the look :) Used combination of ratchet straps to squeeze the main hoop together to align with bolt holes. And ratchet strap from bed tie down to shift into position. All aligned side to side and front to back and lays on wheel wells perfectly.
  21. weld nut welded into position & powdercoated. First clean off the underside of where the sport bar brackets are located. You want them as flush as possible. Each bracket will need to be tweaked to fit exactly to bottom of bed. If not the nuts will not be square with bottom of bed. Then I used a center punch, some are difficult to tap so just spin by hand and make a mark. Followed up by spring loaded punch. Had to use small right angle drill for pilot holes. Then remove and drill holes to 7/16" this will allow some wiggle room and also room for paint on freshly drilled holes. Sport bar instructions say 1/2 for light wiring and to use rubber spacer template. Wiring goes on drivers side. I could not decipher if they wanted to drill thru the U-chanel, so I didn't. Plenty of room to fish wires thru.
  22. Sport Bar installation with OEM brackets . The factory just put a tiny tack weld to hold nuts just meant for a one time installation. Sandblasted and McMasterCarr had exact same weld nuts that have locating centering ring. The pan head Torx bolt that is correct for Sport Bar is a M10 x 1" long. 28 are required. Top is a used one middle is front XJ bumper bolt. Bottom is NOS correct, I have managed to find 25 of them.
