i have a extra head i keep laying around just incase i need one. my uncle has a 96 jeep cherokee 4.0 can i use my 89 head on his? if so do i just get the gasket set for his year or the 89? everything looks to be about the same but little change in the intake ports.

$#!& i had like 10k in my xj build doesnt take long to spend it. i sold my xj so i could build my mj i only got 3800 for my xj.. the 10k i spent did not include the price of my xj lol 100 bucks

had same issue with them just resticker someone elses parts. ordered their parts and came with dorman sticker too. rockauto refunded the difference theres was like 20 the dorman was like 9. that was the last part i ordered from omix ada. still use the hell out of rockauto

bad ground or connection cleaned both now they work.

i finally fixed my wiring issues and my tranny still wouldnt shift. so i borrowed my buddys tcm and now it shifts perfect. so if anyone has one cheap i need lol..... i went to every yard around here and no luck i do have a 93 tcm if someone needs to trade.....

wrong size i have the 700 r15 its 8 ply its a bias ply tire and it actually rides pretty good.

cooper a/t 3s are great tires i put them on my wifes liberty 60k and counting... if you wanna go to 18in wheels cooper zeon atz were the best tires i ever had on my dodge. i think i paid 560ish installed for my wifes but i had them trued and balanced on the truck

so i had some wiring issues for the fuel system. now there fixed.. started putting the dash back together. started the truck no oil fuel or alt gauges spedo and water temp work. checked grounds and fuse. dash lights work. they worked before.

well now truck runs good but now my gauges don't work

i towed my comanche home on a flatbed trailer with an 88 xj 4,0 aw4 on 35s with 456 gears fully locked drove 65mph about 90%of the time and could stop like no tomorrow. no trailer brakes eather. but had bb upgrade and 8.8 used ebc yellow stop on rear and their quick stops on the front. i could lock them up. but I'm in florida its kinda flat here so easier to tow.

yep looks like all of them are linked together. looks like alot of fun. thank you guys. also shows one of those red wires goes to the transmission controls so maybe that fix that issue too. ill brb an an hr or 2
