  1. Awesome! And yes I do have the external it looks a little different but will work! And I'm going to do that the clutch is defiantly something ide like to future proof. I found the Bleeder valve hard to get to though.
  2. Sorry I should of specified, it's a 1986 Jeep Comanche 2.8L with the AX-5. Not sure if its internal or external.
  3. So about 2 months my clutch master cylinder was leaking all over my fuse box. I replaced that right after I figured out the problem. Then I would get in my MJ and push the clutch in first thing in the morning and it would be soft and the fluid was all gone. So then I found some linkage that was leaking in the clutch line and I repaired that. This stopped the leak for a good while. Well this morning I go in my shed and there's fluid all over the floor right under the passenger side of the transmission. What do you know it's my clutch fluid :(. So I looked up and I dot know what this part is called but whatever the master cylinder connects to that enters the transmission was leaking. So do I have to replace this unknown part to me or is it just a gasket? If so can someone link me to a part from any auto parts store? I would post pictures but lately I haven't had any luck with that! It says my phones to old. Thanks for any help :).
  4. I would post pictures but tapatalk updated and my phones to old!
  5. sure thing when I get home from family's house!
  6. I have the RCE kit. It's really beefy and holds up great! The price is great too. Do you want some pictures of it?
  7. do you remember where you got it?
  8. I had no idea that much went into it! I don't think I'll go with a candy color then ill just go with a sapphire blue or a color called metallic red. I always wanted to do black but that's really common and I heard its a pain. Thanks for the info I didn't wanna bite off more than I can chew. Body work has already been very intimidating so I couldn't imagine after all that a hard paint job!
  9. I love that Chrysler blue!
  10. I wanna see all different kinds of MJs with different paint jobs! I'm going to do body work and paint soon and can't decide! I really like the candy apple red color an dark blues so if anyone has a picture of those that would be great. I can't wait to see them; I will post up a picture of mine after its painted.
  11. okay my existing one doesn't have threads at the top though
  12. the year of the gauge cluster is 1990. But the problem is that there is only one wire going to my existing coolant temp sensor and the 1990 is a 2 prong.
  13. I have a 1986 MJ with the 2.8l. I recently switched new gauges It without the idiot lights. I replaced the oil pressure sensor but I couldn't find the 2.8L water temp sensor I any store! So my question is if anyone can link me to a part number for the water temp sensor I need! Any help would be appreciated.
  14. Thank you so much! That helped a lot.
  15. Not that I've seen but there could be because the spider gears haven't been at their correct angle! But I don't use 4wd often so it's probably fine.
  16. Okay that's good so I have a chance of getting it. Could you go a little more in depth? Was the axle on the truck when you did it?
  17. I will go to the office tonight after work. Thanks for all the advice!
  18. I still have the option to do that! I'm going to look into it. I have till before I ship to make up my mind.
  19. I come from a family of sailors! I thought I'de break the line! [emoji6] It's all good. My best wishes to you. Thank You!
  20. I've thought of this. The only problem being the area I'm in; believe it or not all the junk yards lack Cherokees! And the axle prices are very high if I find them! I also try to avoid ring and pinion work as much as possible. I hear its a pain.

  22. . Great advice and quote! Especially coming from someone experienced! What exactly is a 3521?
  23. Earlier this year I had my MJ realigned after putting my lift on just to figure out that the previous owner had most likely jumped it and bent the tubes upwards on each side 2.7-3.7*. He must of been a really smart guy. But anyways I had thought of an idea! I have 2 anchors in my garage floor. I was thinking of anchoring the axle on each side and putting a floor jack underneath and slowly jacking it up till it was at the correct angle; all the while heating it up. After that I was going to Fab a over axle truss for it and weld the axle tubes in the diff. I've resorted to this because for the last year I've been looking for a Dana 30 with 4.11 gears (that's what I have now) and can't find one; or they're at an outrageous price 400$+. Also it is slowly wearing the inside of my tires out but most importantly it looks like I tried to ricer stance it with negative camber. No one likes ricers. So my question is has anyone done this before? Also do you think this is a good idea? I will make a thread for it if this is what I decide to do. Any input is appreciated! :)
  24. Hahah  maybe I could find a local farmer that will rent me space in a poll barn. That's gotta be better than it being outside. All these girlfriend story's are scaring me!
