:agree: he beat me . a good hit on the section where the joint goes into and it will come right out.or just put te nut on and hit on the top on the joint if you don't care about re using it.
also another easy way to remove your bed after you have every thing disconnected is to have another person help you slide it back beyond the rear wheels then tip it up on its end and move the jeep out from under it. thats how i do it anyway

this was in 2003 before i got my hands on it.thats 1500 pounds of potatoes in the bed there. the leaf spring hangers were dragging on the ground. and thats a 2.5 2wd 4 speed

you should check for rust around the rear flares, rust on the floors,and rust on the frame both between the cab and bed and by the rear spring hanger
