  1. You should have 3.55 differential gears, then. That'll help with the torque multiplication. Noticeable difference in how far the wheels will turn?
  2. Automatic or manual? Rear gear ratios will depend on that factor and will help or hurt you.
  3. I have 31x10.5s on mine and they fit pretty well. The front coils sag some, so I can't hit some bumps too fast and they rub at full lock, but they fill the wheel well quite nicely. It's a 4.0 HO with an AX15 and stock 3.07 in the rear but I haven't really had any problems getting up and going.
  4. Some dumbass ran a red light and hit me when I was turning left, then she and her passenger lied to the cops so I got bent over by the insurance company, despite having a pedestrian eye witness to corroborate my account. There are a few around here. Just need some moneys now. I'll probably just buy a whole donor, get the parts I need, sell any remaining parts of value, and then scrap the rest. But if worse comes to worse, Joplin is only 6 hours away.
  5. Yeah, I'm hoping to find a donor that isn't too far away for 4x4 parts and body parts. Thanks. They were already on there when I bought it but I plan on keeping them once I get it fixed.
  6. Dunno about dropbox but I loathe Google + more than I do photobucket.
  7. Okay, people have been after me for pictures since I got my Comanche back in July so I'm finally throwing them all up on here. Just as soon as I figure out how.... Okay, how do I upload picture from my computer? :hmm:
  8. If you pull the height based brake proportioning valve off your MJ, let me know. I'll buy it and the rod. Always good to have a spare.
  9. All you're missing from that list is a Class 3 Receiver Hitch to be able to tow 5k.
  10. Well, pulled the trigger, got the wheels, probably going to try them on when I get home then take pictures tomorrow once it's light out.
  11. And I shouldn't have any problems with these except for some rubbing on sharp turns, right?
  12. http://jacksontn.craigslist.org/pts/4131842266.html Link if anyone wants to look at them, though I'm thinking I'm going to get them from the guy tomorrow.
  13. And yes, I meant ZJ, not WJ haha. I'm still working on learning my Jeep chassis codes.
  14. Well, I am a tard, apparently. A complete and total one. A quick google search yielded the info that, not only do the Eccos have a 5.5" backspacing, I was actually looking at a set of Canyons which are 15x8" wheels with a 5.5" backspace and +25mm offset.
  15. I was under the impression that the Eccos had backspacing of 3.5". But this is why I ask, to make sure. The wheels that were on the MJ when I bought it are apparently off of a WJ. And I don't do much crazy driving in the Comanche haha. I priced some WJ control arms but $75 each at work is painful ahahaha.
  16. So, I found out the other day that when that car hit my Jeep, it pushed the driver side spring pack over far enough to damage the inner lip of that rear wheel and ruin it entirely. So, I'm looking for new tires right now because I dislike the donut and want the tires to match. So, here's my questions: There is a set of Eccos (I believe that's the right name) from a 2003 Jeep Wrangler wrapped in some 31x10.5sx15. Based on my research, I'm fairly certain they won't fit as I'm currently stock height but I was wondering if there was a way I could use them (like taking off the flares (no flare laws in TN)) because the gentleman only wants $400 for all 5 wheels and tires.
  17. DSM? You poor bastard. Getting back to the subject at hand, I'd be looking for a heavy duty water pump (maybe an electric?), power steering cooler, trans fluid cooler and an AW4, and a bigger radiator. A front air dam might help get air to all the cooling bits, if strategically installed.
  18. The 92 Eliminates the other option in my mind.
  19. I believe the only option is to cut about 8 inches out of the back of the bed and then weld it back up.
  20. Not lost any yet on my jeep but I have bolts riding around in the k-member of my LT1 Firebird.
