  1. I couldn't find that tube.
  2. Where is that? Only does it when it rains.
  3. The last fan didn't have the plug in it so I had to splice it in.
  4. Unless I go to the dealer.
  5. OK but what would make it go bad after only 2 years when the other one ran fine for at least all the years I owned the truck? Can't speak to before I bought it.
  6. OK, revision to my above post. I retested the battery side of the plug and there is power up to the plug. I tried to use jumpers to connect the fan directly to the battery and got a little spark but the fan never ran. Fan or resistor? And I just replaced this fan 2 years ago.
  7. I tested the connection and it appears that there is no power to the plug. I've check the fuse and it's fine. Could the resistor have gone bad again? I do have water running down the footwell on the passenger side from time to time. I don't think it gets on the resistor but I suppose it's possible.
  8. Stupid question but which color wire goes to positive and which to negative?
  9. To revive this topic, my blower stopped again back in June. I can't imagine that the blower motor went bad that quickly. I made the mistake of turning the blower off and then it wouldn't come back on. Could the problem have something to do with the switch?
  10. Thanks Cruiser. I finally found that bottom bolt. I had to practically hang upside down in the engine compartment to see it. Once I got that loosened the belt popped right off and changing the idler pulley was easy. The bearings in there were all chewed up and several were missing. No wonder it locked up. I've printed your tips pages. Very helpful.
  11. I found a bolt directly underneath the reservoir that needed to be loosened. Was the one that slides. Took me forever to find it. Once I loosened that, the rest was easy. The old idler pulley had eaten the ball bearings inside it. Good grief. No wonder it froze. Anyway, all is good now. Thanks
  12. So, you say just loosen the belt.....Guess I'm doing something wrong because I can't get it loose. I have loosened those 3 bolts in the front and one down below the pulley on the front. The tensioning bolt is almost all the way out and the 2 bolts on the back are loose and still, I can't get the belt loose. What am I missing?
  13. Mine has frozen up. Any tricks or suggestions on doing this? Gonna put a new belt on as well. I've watched several videos--none of which are my 1991 comanche specific but watched a 1991 cherokee changed and figure it's the same. It's the pretty shiny thing in the picture.
  14. Will do. Should have time this weekend to do it.
  15. HA...that's the one I watched.
  16. OK, so I watched a couple of videos. One guy said some of these self adjust either when you put the car in reverse or when you use the emergency brake. On the comanche, I would jack up one side, use a screwdriver or something similar and turn that gear looking thing just until the brake shoes rub against the drum then tighten the threaded rod to take up the slack?
  17. Man...I can see your lips moving but..........................................is there English in what you just wrote?
  18. I'll take a look but I think I'm ok. Emergency brake is holding and I'm not feeling any drag or hearing any brake noise when rolling slowly down the road.
  19. So, I changed the cable today. Good bloody bleeping god. One question...well, maybe 2. How do I know it's adjusted correctly? I didn't feel any drag when I drove the truck and only needed to push it about 2 clicks for the truck to not move when I gassed it and slowly released the clutch. Attached is a pic of what broke.
  20. Got the wheel cap. It's great. Do you have paypal?
  21. I love it here. Nashville is fun but too big now. And thanks for some guidance on installation.
