  1. That is a nice first MJ, congrats, and welcome, pull up a stool and get comfortable, you'll probably be here a while...

  3. Well, I don't have pics of the removal itself, but it wasn't too difficult. There is one 7mm bolt on the firewall side of the block, and two #3 phillips head screws on the inside, that will pull the fuse block from the fire wall. From there you will need to pull the dash and harness at the same time basically, document where each of the plugs go, that will save you time later. A few cable ties later, and you too can have a giant pile of multi colored spaghetti... lol
  4. looks great, nice start, and there is nothing wrong with slow, its the best way to get it done right...
  5. so, headed to the JY this morning to get a new shift boot, and a spare fuse panel. On sunday, a buddy of mine is going to bring over his MJ. I am going to pay $200 for it, and scalp the parts. I will get pictures of it when it gets here, it has no bed, and no drivers door, but rumor has it that if the electrical were fixed it would run and drive. I want it for the front and rear end, xfer case, trans, and maybe some interior.

  10. I know it is, I have two on my bedroom floor right now, just need a third for parts. One of the yards local to me is going to let me have one for free (helps to work at a JY and make friends with all of the other yards, parts come easy for me)
  11. looks like a great start, congrats
  12. sounds like you might have some air in your clutch lines, try bleeding them out and see if that helps...
  13. Hey guys, I need a fuse box, under the dash. Technically, I just need a couple of pins out of it, that are in good condition, but probably easier to take it apart myself. If anyone has one they can spare, I can cover shipping...

  15. you may want to try swapping out your MAP sensor also, located on the firewall, to the left of the clutch master cylinder... helped mine out quite a bit.
