battery died a few days ago because I was running the radio without starting it.. could that do it too?

I'm gonna try cleaning the IAC, because when I cleaned the throttle body.. it was disgusting, so maybe the IAC is nasty also.

So for the past few weeks I've noticed when I rev the mj it revs fine, but then when i take my foot off the gas it feels like it wants to stall.. It has never stalled but one day it might lol. Just got it in April and haven't done much except replace the fuel filter, air filter, all the fluids etc and maybe a few other things that don't to mind. Other than that I haven't touched the thing... I've noticed when I start her up in the morning it's kind of slow to start.. so I don't know if that has anything to do with it or what. Other than that she runs like a champ... It's a 1991 mj 2.5 4 banger 186k miles on it.

Alright, so update.. Was going to pull the seats out last saturday with a buddy of mine, he was bored so I was like I'm trying to figure out why my e-brake isnt working.. so he came over lol. Long story short, got to the 3rd bolt and it was rusted SOLID, so talked to a guy on here and he recommended PB Blaster, grabbed a can of it at autozone and went to town yesterday, seems to be working, so i'll probably pull the seat out this weekend. Since I couldn't get the seat out that day,(Me being the stubborn person I am) decided I'd try to tighten the equalizer nut, I tightened it up pretty good, didn't get a response... So I didn't give up, got under there again and pulled it off and got all the rust off I could, tried tightening it again and what do you know, it moved! I was excited at first, but the brake still doesn't work.. and after a while it just stopped moving again, so I don't know if it's loosening itself or what. Could someone be kind enough to take a picture of theirs so I could have something to go off of?

hey, just wanted to ask.. how did you know your o2 sensor was bad? I think mine is bad but how can you tell for sure? I have been getting bad mpg, exhaust is stinking up the joint, running kind of funny (not bad but it could be better) would appreciate it if you told me. maintenance req light is on too..

Mine have smoked profusely, but only for about a minute or so. I've only done it at night because our neighborhood is fire shy. No tornados, no floods, no eathquakes...a good wildfire is what does it out here. Last time the entire cloud spewed out and settled over my neighbors house for about 15 minutes...they weren't home. This was about a week ago, just before I pulled my manifolds. The insides of my engine are shiny, squeaky clean now. Only thing is, don't want to be revving my engine and wake the neighbors up.. It's a bunch of black folks who tattle on everything, I threw a piece of bologna out on the sidewalk for the alley cat and we got wrote up.. so gonna refrain from doing ANYTHING in this stupid place.

I said no because I don't use any additives except Lucas Oil products I was looking at that one yesterday, but the man at the auto parts store recommended seafoam, I'll keep them in mind also if I'm ever looking for some additive.

I put a can in my fuel tank, gonna have to take it somewhere else besides my appartment complex to put it in the vacuum line.. or the manager might kick me out lol because I know this thing is gonna SMOKE. I got some blow by so I know some of the seafoam will get into my engine, hopefully it'll clean it up, wanted to switch to castrol anyway.. have some cheap walmart oil in there because it needed an oil change that bad when I got it, i think the last oil change sticker was 40k miles ago lol..

Some people chose no, why did you choose no? A bad experience with it or something?
