  1. Will do, I know I had problems in the past with grounding, thought I had them all solved.. I appreciate all of the help!
  2. Tried swapping bulbs from one that I know work, and it didn't do anything.. maybe I just have a giant electrical problem on my hands lol
  3. For some reason, my check engine light doesn't work either...so I can't check codes, it's crazy
  4. I thought so too, but I tested my old fuel pump with running 12v through it, and it kicked on
  5. I've been looking around for a wiring diagram, I'm guessing the black is going to be the ground?
  6. I have the key turned to where it usually would kick on the pump and prime before I try to crank it. I could have been, my fuel level sensor is working fine, just can't get the pump to power up. I haven't checked the ground there, no, how would I go about checking the ground at the pump? I already redid the ground behind my driver's tail light, so I know that one is good.
  7. So, I'm trying to find an electrical issue, that's what I'm assuming it is. I was driving home last Sunday and all of a sudden, the truck just shut off, I did a little investigating before I decided to have it towed home. 1991 2.5 Jeep Comanche 5spd manual When I got it home, I realized that the fuel pump does not cut on/prime when I turn the key into the "ON" position like it usually does. So, I figured the fuel pump had gone bad. I put a multimeter on the connector that you hook up to the fuel pump and saw that it's only reading 6-6.5v instead of the 12v I'm assuming it should get. I took the fuel pump relay out and tried a jump wire the relay. Still didn't get anything, so I put the multimeter on that, from what I've read, pin 30 should be grounded, and 87 should have constant 12v, I'm not getting anything on pin 87, however on pin 85 and 86 I get 12v. I've checked all my grounds, cleaned them up etc. What else should I check?
  8. I have one in good shape, i'll take a pic of it..

    Fender flare.

Looking for the oem front driver side fender flare.
  11. I settled with them today, took a while, but i feel like it was a good settlement, should be enough to fix it.. and have a little left over for some other stuff.
  12. Sorry guys, holidays, and bunch of other stuff going on.. I appreciate all the help! Gonna take the advice and hit the junkyard soon.. Just wasn't sure what all the parts were called.
  13. So few days ago, guy ran a stop sign and i ran into the side of him, luckily no one was hurt.. but the jeep took a little damage. His insurance wants to total it, but I can't see where the value of one of these is only 1500 dollars.. Long story short, I'm going to get as much i can from his insurance company and fix the damage myself. I just need you guys to help me locate some parts.. I know I'm going to need a new bumper, grille, turn signal lamp, fender and a few other things. If anyone has anything laying around that they're looking to get rid of, pm me, I'll gladly take it off your hands! This is the damage she took.
  14. lol yeah, this "cheap jeep" thing is a joke... still enjoyed both videos though
  15. exact thing happened to me, took a dremel to it, cut the castle nut, then just replaced the track bar.
  16. anyone have a link to better window cranks? I keep breaking the little knobs left and right, figure there has to be a better aftermarket one.
  17. Yeah, I plan on just letting it clatter away for now if it isn't anything major. Gonna put a new engine in it hopefully within the next couple years.
  18. I just went out and bought a gauge to read it so hopefully its pretty close to accurate. Revving it up I'm seeing betweeen 65-70. I've never had problems with the trucks, just recently started hearing a ticking and its driving me nuts, its always been a little noisy but this noise is new.
  19. alright, so i think its pretty high... on startup its between 50-55 psi that was after a 5 min drive to the auto store btw.
  20. running mobil 10w-40 full synthetic, not sure. How would I check that?
  21. I'm assuming me switching over to full synthetic has had something to do it with it. (Made the switch about 6 months ago) But is it something I should be too concerned about? Seems to run fine just a little noisy..
  22. That's what I heard was just gonna check with you guys first. Was looking at a few others, but I would have felt bad using them as my work truck lol.. I need something I can kind of beat up on and not care too much. I'm pretty sure its the powerstroke, if it helps the engine was made by Navistar. Just hoping the bank lends for something that old if I end up liking it.
  23. Hey guys, I know its been a while, have my eyes on a 99' f250 7.3 with 113k miles on it. Looks like its in good condition, gonna give it the go around tomorrow when I meet with the owner. I've heard good things about the 7.3 diesel.. What are your guys thoughts?
  24. Appreciate all the input guys, looks like this is gonna be a long process, guess I'm too picky for my own good lol. That and it being tax time.. Everyone buying now so I guess its not the best time to buy.
