  1. Yea, toyotas are very expensive over here too.. I actually looked at a 08 silverado but it had the 4.3 in it... bummed me out, was a nice truck and good price, but I'd rather have a v8.
  2. Hey fellas, been driving the comanche as a daily driver for the past 5 years.. It's kind of bittersweet because I won't be driving her every day, but the good news is, I'll be able to finally put her in the shop and get all the rust fixed! With that being said.. What kind of full size trucks are you guys driving? I was looking to stay with Chrysler products and pick up a dodge, but I've also heard great things about the Tundra. Only have 10-12k to work with, but I imagine that is enough to get me into something decent without having a car payment. Would love to hear your guys thoughts on a reliable full size truck.
  3. I'd love to find out if someone has found one too... I've looked everywhere for a decent one..

  5. So I'm going to be redoing the entire interior of the mj, comanche's are hard to come by in general, so what should i be looking for in the junkyards for interior pieces? 86-92 cherokees?
  6. lol, yeah, just a little paranoid is all, i got the quote to fix everything and lets just say i've had to pick up some extra hours hahaha thanks, ill try it.
  7. So I'm taking the MJ to get all her rust fixed fixed, and get a new paint job. However, that is still a month away.. I might be a little paranoid, idk, but is there anything I can spray on existing rust spots to keep them from getting worse? The less it spreads, the easier it'll be on my pocket book I'd imagine. Preferably something clear, or white. Edit : I'll be getting the floor pans replaced, is it recommended to have them sprayed with rhino liner to prevent future rust issues?
  8. Appreciate it, took it to the hardware store and they found me something that was similar to it, just get ocd sometimes about the mj lol
  9. dang it! thanks for looking though
  10. I have no idea lol... Yeah, I'm basically looking for a part number for what is marked "ccv fitting" on the diagram, but the 91 came with a pcv system so its not CCV
  11. What is the little orifice on the front of the 2.5 valve cover? It goes from the valve cover to the intake. I've looked on rock auto, can't figure out what its called.. I've tried CCV fitting too, doesn't pull up anything. 1991 2.5 btw.
  12. Any special bleeding procedure? Or is it just the straight forward 2 person job?
  13. Strange thing happening to me.. It doesn't happen the all the time just every so often. I'll pull up to a red light, stop, put it in neutral and then I have a hard time getting it back into first. I'll pump the clutch a few times then eventually it will go into gear.. Shifts fine when the vehicle is turned off though. Had my clutch master cylinder, clutch kit and slave cylinder replaced about a year ago. Just started happening recently though. Any ideas?

    98 Cherokee

Gonna go look at it this weekend, definitely don't want to give him the 1800 for it, was hoping for around 1300-1500 range, anything I should look for other than rust, oil leaks, etc?

  18. yeah, my bulbs were the wrong ones and it was causing all kind of weird stuff to happen... i'd press the brakes and the lights would come on.. my manual actually had the wrong bulb sizes listed, there's a list of the proper sizes somewhere on the forum
  19. i know its far fetched, but have you checked to see if all the bulbs are correct?
