  1. The 91-01 MJ/XJ draglink factory p/n is 52006592; the 84-90 is 52000601. Anyone know the differences if any? Thickness? :dunno:
  2. Just sell and/or junk all the junk and make one puuuuuuurfect unit suited to your tastes w. enough good spare parts on hand to keep it going forever. Having a family of MJs is nice only if you have unlimited quality time to spend on them all and you don't have to waste time earning a living too......
  3. $350 is way too much. I needed a new drive shaft on my 91 LWB because the outer rubber sheath on the OEM shaft was deteriorated and it couldn't be balanced. Called Tom Woods here: http://www.4xshaft.com and he built me a 3" custom shaft w. new u-joints shipped to my door for a bit over $200 . The man does excellent work and stands behind his product.
  4. The Renix era fuel pumps for the 4.0L XJs and MJs are the same. The 2.5L XJ and MJ pumps are different, although I don't know exactly what the difference is. Probably size. :dunno:
  5. 2WD 86-92 MJ/XJ 4WD 90-92 MJ, 90-99 XJ The 2WD front brake assembly is lighter, so I imagine it would be better for your purposes.
  6. It's just attached w. 3M double sided tape and pulls right off the body, especially in hot weather. Problem is I don't think the XJ trim is long enough for the two MJ bed pieces. You'll need five pieces per side. It's a real bear to clean off all the old adhesive; I use a sharp putty knife w. plenty of Goo-Gone. Then clean it up real well with alcohol and reattach using new 1/2" 3M molding tape. :D
  7. I have no place to put it unfortunately. :( It's been in a rollover, top of the cab is crushed in. Still runs though, and the driveline is intact. It was offered to one of my relatives, who called me about since he knew I had an MJ. But it's headed for the yard...........
  8. Thanks for the replies. Looks like there's nothing on this rig that's going to fly for moi 91 MJ. Too bad, it be free too..........
  9. It's an auto. :fs1:
  10. Got a line on the above for cheap. Dana 44 front and rear axles as well as the AMC 360. My question is about the rear end: bolt pattern, wheel center-to-center, SOA configuration? Don't know squat about J10s. :D
  11. You're too kind. They are worse than fugly, they are butt-fugly. Completely out of character for and XJ and/or MJ even if they can be cobbled in nicely, which none of the pics showed. Just my humble opinion.
  12. Since your daughter's XJ is a 95, it has the D35 w. C-clip axle shafts. Any D35 older than 1991 will not work as they have the non C-clip axles.
  13. I open Task Manager w. a window running in both IE6 and Firefox 2. Memory usage IS as stated.
  14. Dayem, Firefox is a memory hog though. Just running in the background w. a single window open (this one) sucks up almost 100K of memory, compared to IE which uses only about 12K-13K. There must be a tweak for this, no?
  15. Just installed Firefox 2.0.0.20. Man, what an improvement! Everything is flying now, including the NEW Ebay. Many thanks for steering me back home. Funny, I always used Netscape for my default browser many years ago but somehow got away from it, I think because somewhere I worked the Windows browser was the only one we could use. It uses about 20Mb of disk space, not bad at all. Love the built-in spell-wrong indicator too. Thanks guys!
  16. Okay, I'll try. But which version? 2 or 3? Don't have a whole lot of disk space. :D Also, can I import my IE bookmarks?
  17. What version of Firefox is the best? 2 or 3? I'm trying to save hard disk space. Oh - and can I import IE bookmarks from a file? Thanks
  18. That's not what he or I said. He says when he goes to SUBMIT, he goes back to the login screen. Me too, but only after a long time preparing the response. This has also happened to me on NAXJA.
  19. I've had this happen a couple of times also, but only if I take a loooooong time typing the post, editing, spell checking, previewing, etc. So now if I have a long post, I do it first in Notepad.
  20. Thanks. That p/n (19A566-A) crosses to a Ford vacuum reservoir @ like $80! I did find a couple of sources for the Wrangler 53003408 ball reservoir (Thanks SW2 and mjdoa) which should work fine for me since I need the 2-port w. a checkvalve. I have the football single port one now w. no checkvalve.
  21. Still can't find any part numbers for the small ball vacuum tank. :fs1:
  22. Jake, is there a part number anywhere on the ball shaped vacuum reservoir? I can't find it anywhere. Found the football/blimp though. Thanks.
  23. Yeah, "himz gonna eat cha!!!" is a real poor choice for your thread title. I agree with the other posters that the upbringing of the dog has the most to do with his adult responses and behavior toward other animals (w. 4-legs or 2-legs), not the breed. The meanest dog I have ever seen was not a Pit, Doberman, Rott, Shepard, or any of the other so-called "strong" breeds; it was a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. 100+ pounds of pure hell towards ALL people and other dogs until he was put down. Hopefully you will continue to put plenty of time and work into your young Pit, it's a beautiful animal, and make him a "balanced" dog as my hero Caesar says. Good luck mate.
  24. Thanks Bob. The boots in the YELP section in my local A-Zone were all too small, but I did find the Energy Suspension (part number 9.13101R) poly boots and replaced the split OEM boots today. They fit pretty well and hold the grease in, but they're RED - :ack: But they work fine. :D
  25. This is stuck. Image Not Found
