  1. I have more and can take more If needed.
  2. Yeah, If only I could find another reverse light. I would then have a whole another taillight assembley to back me up.. What color is your AMX?
  3. Yeah, from my understainfding we have a few NOS parts. And no, I'm not putting another vinvl top on, the are just bad news.
  4. Hiding them, since 71 javelins tail ligts are rare, I can't afford to loose them. Although I have a NOS pair but they are getting to expensive. I have everything except for a few interior pieces, Its just getting all the trim holes filled, and body work. Other than that its a complete car, just removing some of the exterior trim.
  5. Made some progress on the Javelin today. Got the new air shocks installed, and started to put on the slot mags, just got the rear ones on for right now. The New: The Old:             Ill have the front Slots put on tomorrow hopefully. Its looking a lot nicer now.
  6. So where are all the MJs in the US? oh yeah, they are either in Colorado or in Jim's yard. lol
  7. LOl can't wait to see what Mary looks like.
  8. Yes, I know, I really want to, but I need to go back to Kansas and haven't had time. I think I might know what it is, Ill have to take pics but the PO took one of the clutch lines and its poorly bent and is running everywhere. It also looks like a connector that is on the line is cross threaded. Ill have to get under it and look.
  9. It usually looses pressure when sitting on a hill.
  10. It did loose a little fluid, but i havent seen any leaks at all.
  11. For some reason over the past few weeks, my comanches clutch is messing up. When it sits for a while or just going down the highway, It won't go into gear wheather I shift or down shift. When It sits I have to pump the clutch about 50 times, till it builds up pressure. But it still dosent want to go into gear. It feels like there is air getting into the lines. Also I have to sometimes jump around in the MJ to get it to move so it will go into gear or reverse. Any help is appericated. Thanks.
  12. Yeah, I would like a alluminum one too. Just replaced mine with a plastic and don't like it, But there are no 2.5 wrangler parts around here.
  13. Oh, well at least I have been informed on it . Thanks
  14. Those are the "Dominator" hood......... absolute crap. I had one....... it was 3/4" too short and 1/2" too narrow. Fit was terrible. The hood arc was way off in relation to the tops of the fenders. Front corners were high, not enough arc across to keep it level with the header panel in any adjustment combination. What did you do with it?
  15. http://usbodysource.com/ Scroll all they way top the bottom on the left side and it should say comanche.
  16. There is a place that still makes cowl hoods for cherokees, they are expensive, $589 i think, but they look cool.
  17. Oh Its still gonna look somewhat stock, they have superchargers that don't stick out of the hood. Its gonna have some AMX Javelin parts on it. Its gonna be street strip car. something I can still drive around, but still kick some ones butt at racing.
  18. Thanks. all of the things I want to do to the 401 is adding up and gets expensive, I'm basically making a street street strip engine. Some of the mods I want to to is or course up grade internals, pistons, bigger cam and so on. But other mods like fuel injection and either a supercharger or a twin turbos. Saw a guy on youtube testing out his supercharged 401, the thing was cranking out 946+ Hp. can't remember at what rpm though.
  19. The wing goes with the cars curve lol Thanks
  20. I know what you mean, mine fights me tooth and nail somedays, but I still love it
  21. So just wanting some opinions, I'm wanting to swap the 304 out for the 401 I have. But all of the mods I want to do to the 401 is expensive because its not just gonna be made for crusing, its gonna be cranking some horses when I'm done. Now as for the 304, just rebuild it and drive it around until I get a lot of the mods done to the 401. put a 4 barrel carb on the 304 new air intake, some racing peices in it and just use it to drive the car around. What I'm trying to say is go ahead and rebuild the 401 and put it all together, put it in the car, and update it with mods as time progresses, or rebuild the 304 for now and have it to drive around in while the 401 is being built with mods. I'm gonna work on it as I save the money to find a person that is good at bodywork get everything fixed on the body. Right now I just want to get it primed white, with the body work done and one of the drivetrains rebuilt, so my dad can drive it again. Then it will get repainted factory snow white. Just want to see what you guys think. Thanks
  22. Thanks Yeah, those 2.8's I hear arent the best.
  23. Youll have to go back and ask him if he knows how it was done.I'm curious Same, or if I get another Comanche maybe
  24. Other than me finally hooking up my off road lights, nothing.
  25. And they are trails that won't kill the MJ? Body wise I mean
