Are there any location marks or dimbles in factory sheetmetal to locate light in the exact location? Without pulling down my headliner yet, I didn't know if I could drill from the inside out or if I have to take careful measurerments of three (3) holes from donor MJ.

I replaced both the IAC and TPS. The fast idle occurred back when it was cold outside. So far, so good. Good luck!

LMAO- I know... I was busy last year spending $$$$ and getting my "mid-life crisis" CJ-7 done after working on it for 12 years, the blade was neglected. Plan on getting the blade sandblasted and painted. Maybe people will feel sorry for me and hire me to do their driveways. ;)

I understand we might have more coming next week. The rust over my fenderwells started from the inside out. Make sure everyone washes that :mad: salt out under the both front and rear fenderwells.

Indianapolis radio stations are reporting east central Indiana could be getting 10"-12" of snow this weekend. Some like it, some don't. I do! I'm ready to have some fun. :thumbsup:

Looking for advise or previous thread on swapping out MJ dash with dash mounted selector. It is still possible or is there a special year XJ dash I need to look for? Obviously don't want the new selector in the face of the tach. Maybe all I can do is keep the large gas gauge where it is and swap in XJ meters in the smaller pods. Hate to tear into the DD dash unless I know what I'm actually doing and have the correct parts with me. Would someone happen to have a similar MJ dash already removed so you could please share with me what it looks like from behind? Might make this easier to understand. Image Not Found Thank you!

Recently, I've had problems with a fast idle problem with my 89 MJ. Once I start the jeep up to warm up, the RPM's increase as the jeep warms ups. With no tach in the jeep yet, it appears it starts with a respectable 700-900 RPM's. After 10-15 mins of run time, it appears its running 2000+/- RPMs. Once the motor runs this fast, I shut the motor off and go in the house for 10-15+ minutes. When I come out and restart, everything appears to be OK. :doh: I've replaced the O2 sensor about 4 months ago. I cleaned the throttle body with TB cleaner the other day- a little oily. Maybe the idle air control valve is bad? Maybe a vacuum leak? Any thoughts?

We will be at the same shelter as used for Toys 4 Tots. After you pull thru gate, off to your right down over hill. Look for bonfire, jeeps and banners. :clapping:
