  1. that truck is FN nice!- I'm with everyone else here.- how many eliminators are left in the world ? convert it to 4x4, - cherokees are a dime a dozen.
  2. i would just buy that one if i was looking for one - end of story
  3. ty - will give that a try in the morn. i was wondering if the block might just unplug and be easily replacable.
  4. things such as interior lights, dash lights and heater fan just don't come on. well, heater fan did 4 a while. also radio has never come on. i changed some fuses and they were corroded to say the least. - is it a fairly simple thing to change the fuse box - i have no experience with that and was wondering if it is a simple procedure.
  5. ya - he's pretty calm and we live in a very small coastal community and its only a few blocks in any direction - but i totaly agree w/u about being very careful - he's not harnessed but he has a leash thats mounted to the middle of the front of the box on both my comanches (a short one). new steering u-joints and back brakes today - pushing the budget to a new limit.
  6. That's Moki - and those pics are taken at the hospital - where he freely roams the hallways and rooms of the extended care unit ------ no leashes involved and he's been doing it for years.

    Ugh.

"We were all sitting around drinking and BSing tonight, and I decided I wanted to see what it looked like. " -----THAT is why i don't do government drugs. lol.
  8. maybe look into some spacers up front if they come along at the right price.
  9. funny - i paid a G as well. some work to do though.
  10. looks more like my truck than my truck does. lol

    Comanches doubt

My '91 eliminator has -well- everything, but no pw - and i would love that, but i don't know if that was even an option. it also has no a/c.
  12. yes , springs added to mj leafpack. - rear shackles seem fine ( more or less vertical-its my eliminator that has the shackles pointing forward) the front must just b longer coils -i don't see anything unusual there. the LCA s are 1/2" longer than stock and the swaybar links are just not there. drives nice nut abit loosey-goosey in a straight line. i will re-evaluate that when i put in another tie-rod and possibly a steering stabilizer. I'm trying to keep the budget to under $4oo for now. -(shameless bragging)
  13. i bought a starter motor from my neighbour for $20. and wiped down the interior with soapy water then -vrooooom ! - I'm gone ! - been driving every day since. - but it will need new back brakes very soon. still at $325.- cupholder included.

    Newbie

looks like fun. - and where are u located ?
  15. i'm no bodyman but neither one of those trucks looked nessesarily "terminal".
  16. the update -i'm really enjoying this pick-up! it had a binder in it full of reciepts - one was for a new clutch and a new motor 40,000 km ago. - every peny ever spent on it i guess. i raised the rear flares last night to remove some rust. and am doing so "cw" style rocker covers- but they won't be finished til i get back from alberta in 2 weeks.
  17. canon -sd anything - for sure. the best camera is the one u have on u at the time , - which means small.
  18. cleaned up and on the road! runs fantastic and sounds great. its more like what i was lookin 4 when i bought my eliminator. new (2 me) starter motor and cup holder brings me to a total of $325. ---- the fun continues....
  19. i went to the j/y - they looked identical, but the bolt pattern (the three that go through the back) was different. on mine they kind of make a triangle but on the s-10s they were one above the other on the left and a single one on the botom on the right. the handle itself looked the same but my mechanism is siezed so i was hoping to get the guts too. so i left empty handed ( except for a cupholder and a seatbelt).- but i'm back to square-one on this gate.
  20. just so i'm clear :- will the '82 - '93 s-10 gate handles bolt right in ?
